It has been a tough one.

I am really, really, really looking forward to 2017,
it will be another transition year for me, especially in my career,

I am so excited that it is about to be NYE!
My favorite holiday {besides my birthday, but you know}

I am still putting together my NYE outfit for this year,

As far as this year's wish list for NYE, I have been loving and lusting after:
these amazing party jewels from Candy Shop Vintage

I think I may need this Positivity "pill" wallet from Alice & Olivia,
she looks bad ass and what a great reminder to act like you took that "happy pill"

I also love these sequin jogger pants from Target too for a casual NYE look:

DIY, well Charlie DIY- our new Bar Cart!

The perfect Thirsty Thursday to share our new (to us) bar cart!

This Instagram post from bustle is too true, I am currently living in this in-between:

We spotted this bar cart that clearly needed some love on a Facebook group:

I drove and picked it up and told Charlie that it definitely needed some major love,
it was a lot more rusty than it looked online,
he wasn't concerned and got to work right away sanding it and priming it!

We went with "Champagne Mist" from Rust-oleum for an antique finish

I love how it came out!

I loved our old bar cart:

But an upgrade was nice,
The old one moved to the basement to be used for Charlie's brewing supplies

I have to consult my Bar Cart Essentials post from Oct 2015
for some inspiration to style our new cart!

Thinking about styling with copper / mixed metal / glass decanter / marble / and trays.
Similar to these ones I spotted at Target:

Spread Love It's The Brooklyn Way

Hurried home from work to catch some outfit photos before running to Brooklyn for some fun!

What I Wore: glasses- Warby Parker, lips- Burts Bees "Blush Basin", necklace- Forever 21, top- myrotatingcloset on Instagram, cardigan- Lucky Brand, pants- Altuzurra x Target, flats- Forever 21, bag- Reed x Kohls, headband- Built from Ashes

So happy that I brought my trusty Reed x Kohls leopard bag,
this bag carries everything and I am loving it, thrilled I picked it up!
Also beyond happy I brought my Built From Ashes headband for the trip,
it was chilly and this is perfect, definitely a favorite!
