The Haves, or pretending to be.

I loved this episode of Millennial where she talks about being a "have",

 but still comparing yourself to the "Have-Mores" 

I have had a pretty privileged life, I recognize that, 

but in the Jersey Shore town I grew up in I was definitely with the "Have-Mores".

It was an interesting episode, highly recommend 

Sometimes we like to pretend to be the "Have-Mores",
this includes dinner at super fancy golf club Jasna Polana in Princeton, NJ

& this amazing Princeton "Reunion Blazer" that I thrifted at our local Goodwill!
It is a class of 1977, 25 year anniversary blazer!

We have lived in the Princeton area for about 10 years
and when Princeton has their reunion weekend
we love to check out the sweet blazers that everyone wears.

I researched it and found out that "By 1920, the jackets became a tradition with the addition of unique class logos. To this day, each graduating class designs its own class jacket, worn for the first time during Reunions weekend. Classes typically design new costumes for each "major" quinquennial reunion up until the 25th, when they receive a class blazer."

So cool, and now I own one for $6 from the Goodwill =)

We went to Asbury Park to do something a little less "preppy",
a little more "us"

Charlie had an appointment with the incredibly talented tattoo artist Robert Ryan at Electric Tattoo

Charlie got this awesome handshake tattoo with Robert's classic symmetrical flower above it,
it is so perfect.
