New York City is the place where... Day 3 World Trade Center Memorial

Our last day of waking up in this creepy / sweet Loft apartment Airbnb in China Town, NYC 

We walked downtown to the World Trade Center 9/11 Memorial.

What I Wore: glasses- Zenni Optical, lips- Tarte LipSurgence in "Wonder" via Ipsy, necklace- second hand via Rebel Supply Company in Asbury Park, NJ, dress- Who What Wear @ Target, flats- Target, bag- Rebecca Minkoff 

When I asked my mom and big to come to NYC on this adventure with me,
my mom wanted to go to the World Trade Center 9/11 Memorial.

I was hesitant, I still can't even watch the news broadcasts from that day.
I was in 8th grade when 9/11/01 happened,
grew up at the beach where you could see the smoke from the water.

They did a nice job with the memorial.
Bring the tissues- the museum has little parts off the main exhibit
 that has audio from various people in the towers and at the scene.
Absolutely terrifying / heartbreaking.
It was as sad as expected but worth a visit to remember when the world changed.

Back to the port for our ferry back to NJ

Back to my little pug muffin.

I love NYC, always have, always will.
