"We're only tourists in this life" :: Phuket, Thailand Adventure Day 10

Day 10 Recap of our trip to Thailand for the Z's Turn 30!

Our last day in this beautiful place,

we had to check out of our room at 12 PM 

but were not leaving for the airport until 10:30 PM.

So we decided to spend the day at the beach and pool, 

use the hotel showers and just relax.

I miss these mango smoothies with rum, they were amazing! 

We had lunch at the hotel, 

I had the Wonton Soup and Shrimp Spring Rolls, both were very good

Charlie had the Mussaman Curry:

A day of relaxing allowed me to finish the book I brought,

"I've Got Your Number" by Sophia Kinsella,

such a cute story, I enjoyed it! 

We headed to the roof top bar for our last sunset

Had to get one last rolled ice cream... this one was mango!

In Thailand, like many places, you have to pay to use some bathrooms, 

this one had SO MANY signs about not washing your feet in the toilets... 

EW.

 When we got back to the hotel we noticed these two frogs chatting away, 

I thought this was especially fitting since it is kinda how I met Charlie 10 years ago...

Good night and good bye Novotel, 

it's been awesome. 

When we finally got home, after over 24 hours of traveling, 

I could not wait to unpack.

I love our elephant that we got in Bangkok, 

he is a perfect addition to our fireplace mantel

I added lots of little coral pieces to our book shelves:

Thailand was a beautiful, crazy, amazing experience. 

We would definitely go back. 

Time to get back to the grind in the US of A
