"We're only tourists in this life" :: Phuket, Thailand Adventure Day 6

Day 6 Recap of our trip to Thailand for the Z's Turn 30!
{trip still available on Groupon- it is an amazing deal!}

We spent Day 6 relaxing at Novotel at Kamala Beach in Phuket,

Spotted my hubby saving us some spots on the beach

Loving my elephant backpack that I scored at the Floating Market

What a view!

Brought my winter white hot dogs to the beach...

We spotted these little circles on our walk and noticed that it was a little crab that was making them!

I had to capture it in a movie:

& we had to look it up on YouTube:

What I Wore: sunglasses- c/o Glasseslit, top + shorts + bag- all from markets in Bangkok, shoes- Target

Picked up some rocks and coral to bring home
{illegal I know...}

We headed to to the roof for some cocktails,
this one is the "Chalong Bay Charming": Chalong Bay Phuket Rum, Malibu, Lemon Grass, Fresh Ginger, Keffir Lime Leaves, Lime Juice, Soda Water

We had the "Grill For Two"

I also had a "A Day At The Roof": Amaretto, Malibu, Orange Juice, Pineapple Wedge,
Strawberry, Grenadine

We took a taxi into the town to see the Simon Cabaret Show with lady boys!

Man this place was legit!

Over all I loved the show,
there was something for everyone and they played to all the cultures in the audience.
Yes everyone on stage is either a man or a "lady boy".
The makeup and costuming was incredible!
These ladies are beautiful!
Some of the most shiny and intricate sequin outfits I've ever seen.

The dancing and lip-syncing could use some work but it was still a good time.

My favorite was the "Spell Block Tango" where Disney villains sing parody versions
of the Cell Block Tango song from Chicago.
It was so well written and funny, I loved it.

After the show they line up for pictures,
apparently you have to pay though which is not immediately clear

The crowds after the show were crazy!

 Happy we got to experience some Thailand lady boys in a classier way
 than a "Ping Pong" show... {click & read at your own risk...}
