I really need to pick up the new Iris Apfel book, "Accidental Icon"

When I heard that Iris was all over the window displays at Bergdorf Goodman in March, 

I knew I had to take the trip up town! 

Shout out to my fashion school friend Holly for taking the trip uptown with me! 

We got to go inside and see the designer inspired collections for sale too!

Ohhhh myyy godddd. 

This is my print mixing heaven, I wish I could live on this floor...

Bergdorf Goodman even had a pair of Iris Apfel's signature round glasses from Alain Milkli! 

Oh you KNOW I had to try those babies on! 

Yes, I love them.

I had to rewatch the "Iris" documentary on Netflix, 

I loved this quote Iris says about her husband Carl:

Iris inspires me to wear brights, mix colors and textures 

and just have FUN with clothing! 

& ROCK those glasses!

I wore this outfit to my fashion classes earlier in the day,

where we discussed color theory and I immediately noticed that my outfit 

was the perfect example of complementary colors.

Compared to one of my last outfits that was a great example of analogous colors...

I LOVE Eloise the kitty, she is amazingly adorable!
