Humble Beauty Opinion #34!

September is my birthday month, which means birthday gifts from Ulta & Sephora!
Definitely a highlight of my beauty opinion this month!

I was very impressed with this year's Ulta birthday gift-
a full size Urban Decay shadow in "Midnight Cowboy"!
This is a beautiful shade that I have been loving since I got it!

This year's birthday gift from Sephora was a choice
between this Marc Jacobs lip and liner set, or a Fresh skin care set.
Happy I went with this set, the lipstick is very pretty, a great everyday color!

With a ton of CVS coupons, I decided that I had to stock up on my new favorite,
Revlon hair color in "Burgundy Black"
This color is the best of both worlds!
Got both for like $4!

I have been seeing this Butter Bronzer from Physicians Formula
on lots of instagrams / youtube videos and I wanted to give it a shot,
especially since I have heard it smells like pina colada {actually quite strong of a scent}!

I got it and have been enjoying it, except the packing broke right away and would not close,
the pan was loose so I decided to just take it out and put it in a Z Palette.

Also recommended by LipstickandLace91,
was this duri "Rejuvacote" protein treatment for your nails,
I had to get it from Walmart and try it out.
I am enjoying it and I did think it was helping,
but just over the last few days my nails have peeled and broken =(
Gotta keep trying it out

I picked up this Makeup Revolution "Vivid Baked Highlight" in "Golden Lights" from Ulta
based on a recommendation from Kathleen Lights on YouTube,
I am so happy I picked this up, it really is THAT GOOD!
I am loving it! A new favorite highlight for sure!

While visiting my parents, I stopped by Walgreens to see if they had any of the fall limited edition Wet n Wild products, since we don't have a Walgreens close to us.

I was so happy to find the "Plaid To The Bone" trio,
I needed to try that greenish duo chrome shade!
I am obsessed with this type of shade which you will soon find out...
I ended up ordering the "Velour Vixen" trio from Amazon since I can't find it in store,
 and I need that red!

Also in Walgreens I found the Rimmel Kate Nudes in "47",
this shade was recommended by EmilyNoel83 on YouTube.
and I am so happy I picked it up, since getting it I have worn it almost daily!
See it on HERE.

While we were in NYC I had to stop by a Duane Reade
to see if they had any products on my makeup wish list that I can't normally find in NJ

Sure enough, I came across the Prestige shadow in "Hocus Pocus" that has been on my list since I watched a Top 5 Duo Chrome video from CoffeeBreakwithDani on YouTube.
SO HAPPY I GOT FINALLY GOT THIS!
It is beautiful!
When I opened it the pan was loose, so I carefully popped it out
& right into my Z- Palette to travel!

I am completely obsessed with this type of eyeshadow,
when I brought home "Hocus Pocus" I was like, "How does this compare?"
which caused me to dig through my collection and get swatching!
These are the shades that I bought with the same intrigue of duo chrome:
1. Colourpop "Bae"
2. Loreal "Green Promenade"
3. Wet n' Wild "Comfort Zone" Palette- definer shade
4. Wet n' Wild "Plaid to the Bone"- eyelid shade
5. Makeup Geek "Havoc"
6. Prestige "Hocus Pocus"
7. Stilazzi "PS44" {this is a huge pan for the price!}
8. MAC "Club" {I really want to try the Blue Brown pigment- this is next on my list!}

In reality you need a video to see how pretty these shades are:

What can I say? This duo chrome green/black/redish color is my jam.
Any other shadows in this shade range that I am missing in my collection?
Let me know so I can continue my addition!

I know that one that is on my list is the Butter London Glazen Eye Gloss in "Oil Slick",
as seen on Kathleen Light's August Favorites video on YouTube
by far the weirdest formula of eye shadow I have ever touched.
But this shade is so pretty, so sparkly, like the sparkliest shadow I have seen,
with the duo chrome base that I LOVE.

I am putting this on my Christmas wish list for sure!

To really get my makeup ready for fall,
I had to check out this "Pumpkin Spice Latte Highlighter" that I saw on Popsugar!

Popsugar described this highlighter as a warmer version of Becca's Champagne Pop highlighter
that was made in collaboration with Jaclyn Hill, which I own and LOVE!

I love all these swatches from FeatherRiverBody,
especially Ancient Warrior / Redstart / Sunset / Orange Script

I had to try the Pumpkin Spice Latte Highlighter
and in true Emma form I had to get the eyeshadow in Redeemer,
a lighter purple version of my favorite shades discussed above...

Both are so pretty and perfect!
Excited to play with them all fall!

Check out the highlighter on:

I am completely obsessed with this makeup look on the Taffy shade page,
stunning!

I cleaned out my travel baby Z Palette after I lost some products on my Colorado trip,
and set it up for fall!

I love doing this to switch up the shadows I use
& have a palette that I can throw in my bag for traveling!

I loved this cartoon that I found on the Z Palette Instagram,
that is how it feels to depot things!

I have wanted a leopard glitter nail polish for years but haven't been able to find one,
So I found these leopard spots decals on the Etsy store BoroughBabeSupply
and had to give them a try!

As soon as these arrived I knew I had to try them right away!
The brown is OPI- "A-Piers To Be Tan"
I am not sure how I feel about it, they stick up a bit which drives me crazy,
maybe more practice and they will be better, maybe with a professional mani?

Lot's of beauty boxes this month,
especially since last month's Humble Beauty Opinion was a
"back to school" / "everyday makeup routine" feature

I got my hands on the September Target Beauty Box this month,
these sell out so quick!

I have been enjoying the Rimmel lipstick in "Naughty Nude"
and I already know that I love the S.W. Basics lip balm,
other than that I need more time to try the other products out.

I also got a Walmart beauty box this month!
I am excited to have a travel size Batiste dry shampoo, and Clean & Clear deep action cleanser,
I already had the vitamin gummies which were good
and have tried the Hello toothpaste, can't say I enjoy it though, I prefer mint I suppose

Two months of Ipsy to talk about!
August:
so far I am loving the Winky Lux "Diamond Complexion Powder" to set my under eye area,
the Pacifica "Suncreams Lotus" bronzer is nice too,
I was really excited to try Ciate London polish, but I am not a fan of this formula,
it peels and chips and I don't have time for a polish that high maintenance.

September:
I am loving the Pixi by Petra "Mattelustre Lipstick in Rose Naturelle"
but the packaging is so cheap, I can hardly get the lipstick out of the tube.
I am excited to try the newest Trust Fund nail polish in this month's bag,
since I love the other two I have gotten from Ipsy in the past

Also in my September bag, I redeemed this em cosmetics shadow top coat in "fairy glimmer",
it is so pretty. I am enjoying it!
I wanted to share this awesome deal that I recently saw in our new Cosco,
Beauty Blenders for $15! Save $5!
These are a must in my makeup routine.

Not sure this Hourglass palette is on my wishlist,
but it is beautiful!
I have the Hourglass blush palette and they are not my favorite, I prefer more pigment.
I just love the marble packaging of this palette, as seen on teresalaucar on Instagram.

Empties:
(2) Revlon "Burgundy Black"- new favorite hair color! / Tea Tree sheet mask from H-Mart Korean Grocery store- love these! / Summer's Eve Cleansing Cloths "Sheer Floral"- also love these but the packaging of these caused them to dry out / Nuxe Reve de Miel face wash- this feels so luxurious, I like the smell, I think it does it a good job of removing makeup too / Opia "Lemon & Green Tea" from Primark- smells so good, loved this scent! / No 21 "White Tea & Linen" from Primark- also love this one! / luminessence "Driftwood Sands"- from Dollar Tree, my favorite scent from this brand. Haven't been able to find them in a while though / (2) Mainstays "Woodland Sage" from Walmart- love this scent too, these candles are great! / Up & Up acetone nail polish remover- this will get glitter polish off in seconds, but it dries the shit out of your nails and nail beds. / Mary Kay "Timewise Night Solution"- I have had this FOREVER, happy to have used it up. Not sure it did anything though / Thann Shampoo & Conditioner & Body Lotion- I love the scent of these products, reminds me of our Alaska honeymoon hotel!

Jergens "Ulta Healing" lotion- my all time favorite / Laneige BB Cushion in "Dark"- I used this as a liquid bronzer for contouring and I enjoyed it, I like the way this BB cream smells, weird I know. / Secret "pH balanced shower fresh" deodorant- a good one, currently using the Toms deodorant which does not work. Need to purchase a new one of these / "Si" Giorgio Armani" perfume sample- I was surprised at how much I loved this scent, but not in the market for a perfume / benefit "Roller Lash"- I really liked this in the beginning but not as much as time went on, sometimes it can leave your lashes too spidery / nailtiques "Formula 2" my Zia gave me this and I enjoyed it and it lasted a while, I am excited to try the new duri one that LipstickandLace91 recommended!
