"You're The Only Tenn I See" :: Day 3 Tennessee Road Trip! {Honky Tonkin'}

{image source: opry.com}

A beautiful day in waking up in Nashville!

I love the little details in our Airbnb:

Time to walk to town,
we booked this Airbnb because it said everything was walkable distance,
what they didn't say was the area is under a lot of construction
 and you have to walk past a local jail...
but once you get past all that you walk by the river and are close to Broadway

For our first official meal in Nashville we walked to Varallo's,
our Airbnb hosts recommended this place as a "no frills" breakfast spot and it was exactly that.
I loved the fried chicken I had and the staff was so friendly,
happy we got in when we did because they got so busy right after we arrived.

Next to our breakfast spot was a little walk through "The Arcade" that was full of shops
and little restaurants

At the boutique "From Nashville With Love" I fell in love
with these M.Florita skyline necklaces,
I wish they had an NYC one because I would have totally purchased it,
may have to ask for it for my birthday!

Loved the vintage entrance to this "Sam's Clothing + Shoes" store:

We finally found Broadway!

Did I wear my cowboy boot print shirt to a boot store with a massive cowboy boot outside?
 🤠
 #youbetcha
& even got a compliment from one of the ladies working there!

What I Wore: glasses- BCBGMAXAZRIA "Sage" frames from CVOptical, lips- Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics "Fussy", top- vintage, shorts- H&M, booties- Target, bag- vintage Dooney & Bourke {second hand from my mom}

This couch and "B" is perfect for my sister Bianca!

We walked past the "Strings for Hope" stand which caught all our attentions!

We each picked out a ring & I love them!

We headed to Nudies Honky Tonk for some music

Love the view from the roof top!
One of the best part of Nudies was a dancing woman outside the door
dressed in a chicken suit...
when we left the chicken lady ran up to me and said:
 "Hey I like your dance moves, I could learn from your dancing"
Ladies & Gentleman, my dance career has peaked with the compliments of @thebroadwaychicken

We went to Puckett's for some BBQ dinner,
I had some shrimp and grits which were okay, stick to the BBQ!

We headed to Winners for a night of Whisky Jam

We saw a couple country bands...

Then Tai Cheetah took the stage and said,
"My name is Will, when I am on stage I am Tai Cheetah and I write rap music"
My sisters all looked at each other like "what is happening"
He was SO into his music that it was impossible not to enjoy.
He said that his single "Whachu" was released on the radio & I knew we had to find it!
We've been loving it ever since!

Definitely worth a listen:

"Best damn rapper in the city of banjos"
