Hawaiian Shirts (or should I say "Aloha Shirts") are the perfect Article of Interest
for Casual Friday!
Inspired by Episode #4 from the podcast 99% Invisible
I loved how they talked about the origin/history of "Casual Friday"
& how the "Operation Liberation" was a starting point for business people
to wear aloha shirts during the summer in Hawaii and support local manufactures.
I think this shirt is a little more "Hawaiian" than "Aloha" because aloha shirts
a little more toned down and have actual references to local plants and animals.
This is probably more "resort wear", fitting since I bought it on vacation in Thailand!
What I Wore: glasses- Faniel Eyewear c/o 10/10 Optics, lips- the balm "Namaste" via Ipsy & Maybelline Color Whisper "Petal Rebel", necklace- Julie Vos "Cairo Delicate" {currently on sale during our sample sale!!}, top- market in Thailand, pants- Whoa Wait Walmart collection @ Walmart, flats- Target
I laughed out loud at this post from the @generationwhypodcast 🔛 Instagram:
Now that is my idea of a wild Friday night!
