& the heat goes on...

Well at least it did for a few days and just became fall/early winter overnight in NJ...

On Friday this happened:

So I had to run to Walgreens in Penn Station to rectify this situation ASAP, 

nothing will make you finally purchase that new mascara like looking like a clown on public transportation.

After work in NYC, I took the train to Red Bank 

& went to see David Byrne preform at Monmouth University.

It is so funny because that is how we started off Charlie's 30th birthday celebrations and now mine!

 You know I had to break out my "Feel The Byrne" shirt! 

What I Wore: glasses- Bellinger, lips- Smashbox "Disco Rose" & LA Girl "Matte Style", necklace- gift from my Nonna and Mom, top & cardigan- gifts from my hubby, pants- Victoria Beckham x Target, shoes- vintage

Tune Yards opened for David Byrne which was an interesting experience, 

I love their "Water Fountain" song and I was happy they played that:

This concert venue was interesting.

It was at Monmouth University, but they wanted to charge $10 for parking, cash only, 

and then no reentry but they weren't serving any beer or wine. 

They also left a lot of bright lights on during the show which was distracting. 

David Byrne puts on an incredible show that is an immersive experience 

but the venue kinda took away from it.

We spent the night at my parent's house and hung out with this little cutie, 

he was sitting like such a good boy waiting for my mom to come downstairs:

"I think that this must be the place." 🎶
