Feelin' the Byrne

We kicked off March with an amazing "Once-In-A-Lifetime", if you will,

concert:

The Talking Heads are one of my all time favorite bands, 

when we saw that David Byrne was going on tour we knew we had to go, 

tickets sold out immediately so we ended up getting them on a resell website 

& paying way too much but it was worth it.

Charlie bought me this "Feel The Byrne" shirt from our fave tribute band Start Marking Sense! 

What I Wore: glasses- WhereLight, lips- NYX "Stone", necklace- Hunt & Orchard, shirt- gift from Charlie via Start Marking Sense, cardigan- Target, pants- Old Navy, booties- Aldo {gift from sister}

I couldn't believe that he was playing at Count Basie in Red Bank, NJ.

This where we had our dance recitals!

We sat on the balcony but it was the perfect view of the whole stage, 

David Byrne came out in the beginning of the show and said that this was the first stop on his new tour and he would appreciate no pictures being taken while they work out the kinks.

I obliged, and danced the nigh away but others broke the rules so I used some of their pics!

He played the perfect mix of old and new, 

of popular and lesser known songs.

It was amazing.

He is playing again in September at King's Theater 

{the same beautiful venue that we finally saw the Yeah Yeah Yeahs last year}

It is sold out already but hoping we can find tickets for a decent price...
