On November 7th, I fulfilled a lifelong dream of seeing the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in concert.
I have loved them since I was in middle school
I almost went to see them at a free concert in Central Park when I was a Junior in HS,
but I knew my parents would freak out if they knew I skipped school & went to NYC...
I have regretted being a good kid since...
When I found out they were playing a show to celebrate the Re-Issue of Fever to Tell,
I almost fainted. This is the best album. I have listened to it on repeat for YEARS.
I knew I HAD to go!
Tickets went on sale at 10 am & I set a ton of alarms,
but I also had a damn dentist appointment...
I ended up missing out on tickets because they sold out immediately,
and I was attempting to order while driving, {dangerous, I know.}
and I cried my eyes out on the way to the dentist.
My sister Audrey knew how excited I was to see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs,
and asked me if I got tickets and I said that I didn't and was upset that I missed out again.
& I got this message:
OMG.
MY SISTERS ARE THE BEST!!!!!!
THANK YOU AUDREY!!!!
😘😘😘😘
I got to see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs!!!
I was so exited that I got to celebrate this show with my hubby too!
We made a whole night out of it and stopped by Other Half in Brooklyn,
we have wanted to go to this brewery for years now!
So many good beers on tap!
& we tried a lot of them
My favorites were: "Cream Get The Honey" & "DDH Mylar Bags",
but I loved all the ones we tried
I also loved this mirror collage in the bathroom:
Time for the show at Kings Theater in Brooklyn!
This theater was INCREDIBLE,
seriously.

Kings Theater is the most intricate theater I have ever been in,
it was breathtaking:
This whole experience was incredible,
they even had an album cut out to take pictures:

I was also happy that we got to watch the "There is no Modern Romance"
documentary before the show!
It was incredible to see how far they've come and how it all started in NYC,
I loved it!
I danced the night away,
and admittedly cried from happiness...
it was amazing
We were pretty high up but I am so happy I got to see this live,
I wanted to share a bunch of amazing photos from the show:

I would have died if they played "Art Star",
the only one that they didn't play that I wanted to hear.
So I had blast it at the Vault the next day...
Added all my favorite songs to my 2017 Spotify Playlist:
STILL SHOCKED.
This was an amazing experience!
Thanks again to my sister Audrey for getting me tickets,
you're the best ever.
