They See Me (Lobster) Rollin' :: Maine Road Trip Day 3

Day 3 of my 30th birthday trip to Portland, Maine!

I knew we had to have coffee downstairs in our Black Elephant Hostel

because the decor in this place is enviable aka what I want my house to look like, 

it is layered, bright, and full of wall paper 

& I love how it all just sort of goes.

I also loved the fresh flowers, mixed matched mugs, 

the open shelving & metallic backsplash:

The bathroom downstairs is the sister wall paper to our Lemur Room

One of the first things I noticed in our hostel was the AMAZING carpet in the lobby, 

I over heard the owned say that this capet is "The Tree Of Life" 

& is a $11,000 carpet but she got it for $1,000.

It is incredible, I had to look some up online, see similar:

I mean, a girl can dream on a magic carpet ride

We headed to our last meal in Maine before hitting the road for a 6 hour trek

What I Wore: glasses- c/o Glasseslit, lips- Trestique "English Rose" via Ipsy, necklace- gift from Mom and Nonna, top- Hunter x Target, pants- Style&Co {thrifted}, booties- Universal Thread @ Target, bag- vintage Coach {thrifted}

We stopped by Bayside American Cafe

You know I had to get one last lobster roll in, 

this one may have been my favorite, 

although it was "Market Price" so came to about $24...

I thought lobster rolls would be cheap in Maine but nope, not really.

Most we had were in the $17-$19 range.

I mean I could get one in NYC for that price...

So all-in-all we accomplished our missions of lobster rolls and beer, 

the final count was 6 delicious lobster rolls in 2 and 1/2 days. 

Not too shabby.

Headed home to this little pug roll...

a king on this throne of pillows.
