Spectacular Sunday :: Celebrating 5 Years of Married Bliss

Last week we celebrated "5 Years of Married Bliss" 

Which started with me running to the Warby Parker in Grand Central Station after work 

to finally pick up a pair of sunnies for Charlie:

Charlie did a Warby Parker try on last year but we couldn't decide on a pair, 

he wasn't quite satisfied with any of them.

Since then he broke his favorite pair of RayBan sunglasses that he has for years

& it was time for a new pair.

When I was doing some online research for a gift I saw the "Ames" in 

Whiskey Tortoise with Green-Grey lenses I thought they were perfect! 

They are 👌🏻

I wore some gingham & my "Wifey" necklace to "Celebrate 5 Years of Married Bliss"

What I Wore: glasses- Firmoo, lips- Urban Decay "Anarchy" (same lipstick I wore on our wedding day!), necklace- Rebecca June, dress- Francesca's, sandals- UrbanOG, bag- Betsey Johnson 

We went out to Brick Farm Tavern to celebrate with some drinks: 

Brick Farm Tavern always has a great beer list, 

this time I had the Troon "Surfeit"- Kettle Soured Wheat Ale w/ Peaches & Nectarines, 

& the Tonewood "Improv"- NEIPA both were really good!

After beers we went to Charcoal, 

convenient that our anniversary falls during their restaurant week.

Charcoal is amazing, everything we have tasted is just so good, 

restaurant week there feels like you're robbing the place.

My first course was Yellowfin Tuna and it was amazing.

My second course was the scallops with sunflower seed salsa which were also incredible! 

Charlie had the Skirt Steak a la Holstein and that was also amazing. 

I finished with the Buttermilk & Cookies and Charlie had the Raspberry Panna Cotta

Don't forget their bread and butter which is to die for.

One of the best restaurants I've been to.

Another great anniversary, 

5 Years of Married Bliss and Counting.
