Searching for hidden treasure, finding none, and putting up wallpaper.

In October of 2016, 

Charlie noticed a leak in the basement and decided to open a the wall 

to see if he could fix the leak himself.

I warned him that if he opened it he needed to be sure he could fix it...

Yes, we lived with a hole in the wall for two years... 

until we called in the professionals who fixed it in two days in March 2018, 

but it was a much larger issue than we realized

 Including two valves hiding and leaking behind the wall:

But soon it was all patched up 

& back to normal after Charlie painted it!

& we recently committed to some wallpaper for our little stair triangle! 

We have wanted to do this for a long time, 

and found this Peacock wallpaper from the new OpalHouse Collection @ Target: 

I love how it came out! 

& I was surprisingly good at it!

All these cute chairs finally inspired me to reupholster my makeup chair from the attic!  
It has been looking pretty gnarly these days...

I used some fabric that I used for a table cloth when I vended at the Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market:

The chair is now Arnold approved 

and as Charlie said "worthy of being in the leopard closet" 

I also finally found the perfect place to hang this cute little pink house 

that my sister Bianca got me from her trip to New Orleans: 

Feels good to complete some home projects!
