for Casual Friday to the Vision Expo was my only one?

I fell in love with this little NYC dish that I spotted at Anthropologie yesterday:
I also spotted these little rolling pin knobs in the sale section of Anthropologie
and decided they were perfect for a home decor experiment
I have been meaning to conduct...
Somehow convinced my hubby Charlie to help me last night:
He put them up and it was up to me for the magic of making it work
I added some ribbon and washi tape:
Low & Behold my new eyeglass holder!!
I am not going to lie, I will need to figure out a better method for the tape though,
it is not working that well and the ribbon I tried before gave too much give.
Suggestions welcome,
I am thinking a ribbon that has the wire running through it, or maybe some sort of rope
But it looks pretty!
I also finally hung my eye chart that I found:
I love the combo of these two addition additions next to my vanity!
How do you display eye glasses or sunglasses?
Suggestions?!
