Liebster Award, discover new blogs!

I haven't done something like this in a while,

I want to thank Laura from My LTL Blog for nominating me.
The Liebster Award is given to bloggers from bloggers.
This is a way to discover new blogs and meet new people!

My questions:

1 Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging to break out of the mundane day to day of the start of my teaching career. I was surrounded by quite boring people and thought “There has to be people that are interested in the same things I am” and I found blogging.

2 Who is your favorite designer?

My favorite designer is Betsey Johnson, her patterns, I love the style of her purses, her carefree runway shows complete with a cartwheel at 72 years old! I especially love her interesting handbags.

3 What is your biggest problem/challenge when it comes to blogging?

I think my biggest challenge when it comes to blogging is the desire to work with more brands and sometimes feeling stuck/lost with how to reach out and create the types of relationships that I want through blogging.

4 What is your favorite part about blogging?

My favorite part of blogging is the ability to share things that make me excited to get dressed, and put on makeup in the morning. I love to connect over clothing, home décor, food, and the little things in life. I thought that I was the only one who paid attention to these details and really enjoy getting dressed.

5 Where is your favorite place to vacation?

My favorite place to vacation is my dad’s hometown in Italy, we used to go every year when we were kids and I haven’t been in over 5 years. I loved growing up in that small town.

6 What is your favorite accessory?

My favorite accessory is a bit of a necessity, my glasses. I have about 20+ pairs and I really enjoy wearing glasses. I think that they really finish outfits for me.

7 What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is sushi. I could eat it every day. I really love seafood, especially lobster and crab!

8 Cats or Dogs?

If you asked me this in September I would have said “DOGS! Hands down!” but in October we added our kitty Arnold to our fur family and he is seriously adorable. He loves to cuddle, is very entertaining and I really enjoy having him around. Our dogs Maggie and Barry are still pretty cool too… Who am I kidding, I would take cats + dogs over humans any day...

9 What is your all time favorite book?

Wow, I am not sure why this is such a hard question. I don't really have one, this is why I added “reading all the books on my night stand” to my Summer 2015 BucketList.

10 Who is your favorite blogger?

I love a lot of bloggers, especially the chicas I met at Texas Style Council in March. I would say the two bloggers that I read and follow on the daily would be Hilary from Cutie Cameras and Nicole from Writes Like A Girl. These girls are seriously adorable and total sweethearts! I am so happy I got to meet them in real life and continue to connect with them.

11. What is your favorite season to dress for?

I think my favorite season to dress for is early fall, like

September into October. I love the ability to layer if you

want, but you can still get away with more summery pieces

with pants.
