DogFISH days of summer: Day 1!

Just got back from our "family vacation" to Dogfish Head in Delaware!

Here is a day 1 recap!

Had to stop at our brand new Wawa for the opening,
quite a big deal apparently, mascots, ribbon cuttings,
 and the best part? FREE COFFEE FOR 10 DAYS!

Road Trip time!

Finally arrived at Dogfish Inn in Lewes, DE!

We had two rooms and they were adorable!
Every detail, every decoration was perfect!

Complete with lots of merch for sale...

I loved every detail of our rooms

No detail was lost in the main lobby of the inn either!

Even the details in the bathroom were hilarious and awesome!

I loved these Wes Anderson playing cards,
these are some of our favorite movies
{the hubby and I-- the family doesn't share the same enthusiasm about these movies}

Then we walked around the town of Lewes and did some window shopping,
I loved this bracelet from the cutest store called Coral Cove

I also loved this very Maine style rain coat from another gift shop,

We went into Rehoboth to walk around and I picked up these cute little bug earrings for $7
from Valhalla gift shop in Rehoboth Beach,
I love them!

I hate when I go somewhere and forget to put on earrings,
these were perfect for all weekend & beyond!

We went to Henlopen City Oyster House for Happy Hour

I had the Hands Flemish Red and I loved it!
I think it may be the best beer I had on this trip!

Then we went to the Rehoboth Beach,
the traffic was absolutely terrible to get to the beach, more on that tomorrow...
and the parking was hard to find and expensive!
but it was nice

On the way back to the hotel we stopped at The Pickled Pig for dinner

I loved this chalkboard of all the DE breweries!

I had the hog wings and they were amazing!

Home to Dogfish Inn!

I loved the fire pit & games we played at night

For a late night snack we went to Half Full in Lewes, DE
we had this GRIMM beer and some pizza, the mushroom one was AMAZING,
I craved it the next day!

On our walk home I saw this beauty in a store window...
