I don't usually do seasonal bucket lists,
I do have a Travel Bucket List in my "About Me" page,
but since this is a huge transition summer for me {more on that later}
I decided to do one this summer,
The biggest component to this bucket list is the "Beer Bucket List"

The Garden State Craft Brewers Guild has a nice clickable list of these NJ breweries + maps!
We are also taking a "family vacation" to DogFish Head in Milton, DE!
We are also going to take a 5 hr ride to Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery in Virginia,
to taste their unique brews!
One brewery that is not even on the "planning" list is the Beach Haus Brewery in Belmar, NJ
We visited this weekend:
Beers were pretty good, although expensive for a flight
the place is large and nicely done considering this was a huge bakery when we were kids.
The next aspect of my Summer Bucket List is to read the books on my night stand,
that have been mounting for over a year now...
I recently finished "Lean In" by Sheryl Sandberg
& "Odd Girl Out" by Rachel Simmons
These two books offer interesting insights to the behavior of girls/woman
in school, personal life, friendships, and careers.
I think that "Odd Girl Out" is the childhood explanation to the necessary messages that Sheryl discusses in "Lean In".
I think every woman should read "Lean In" and continue to be encouraged to look out for woman and build each other up and not break each other down since we already have so many things going against us in the current society.
To be read:
- "A Tale of Two Besties" by Sophia Rossi
- "Tipping Point" by Malcolm Gladwell
- "Fast Food Nation" by Eric Schlosser
- "Divergent" by Veronica Roth
- "House of Leaves" by Mark Z. Danielewski
{I started "House of Leaves" last year in Saint Thomas,
but it was too complicated of a read for the beach}-- need to start over
The first one that I am going to read is "A Tale of Two Besties" by Sophia Rossi,
We got an advanced readers copy at TxSc in March and I have been trying to read it ever since
I also want to:
- Learn photoshop in time for my year recap to do better collages on the blog
- hit the gym {written in pencil because I have commitment problems... but I need to get in shape}
- Go to the Brooklyn Flea market + Brooklyn Brewery!
- Take a glass blowing class with my sisters
See my progress on my About Me page!
So much to do!
Summer officially starts today!
& Happy Fathers Day <3
