Got to walk through Times Square to go on a field trip to the SUNY Global Center

The SUNY Global Center is this adorable building squished between two high rises,

I was amazed that this quaint house looking building opened into this modern gallery
with huge lector halls in the back

We had the incredible opportunity to hear “Building Blocks for Business Success” by Anna Bakst
the Former Group President of Accessories and Footwear, at Michael Kors.
This is THE woman who STARTED the Michael Kors Accessories and Footwear departments!
When she was hired she was asked to turn these divisions
into a 50 million dollar business in 10 years.
In 10 years, Anna worked to make Michael Kors Accessories and Footwear
into a 5 BILLION dollar company.

As they say, that is billion with a B!
If that isn't incredible and inspiring I don't know what is!
Fashion School is seriously amazing.

Time to take the Subway back to FIT!
This mosaic mural is amazing:

The plus side to doing my third degree,
is that this time my last name starts with a Z,
so I am called last on the attendance list and can get a coffee and still be on time!
😉

In Textile Science we got to see how synthetic fibers are made,
through a series of chemical reactions using a "spinnerette" device,
similar to a spiralizer

Even though fashion school is an amazing experience and I am really loving FIT
this is exactly how my life feels these days:

Thanks to my friend Ally for sharing this meme on Facebook
& making me lol
