May of last year I was graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology 

with a degree is Associate Degree in Fashion Business Management!

I can't believe it has been a whole year since walking across the stage at Radio City Music Hall

Going to FIT was one of the best decisions I have ever made,

 still can't believe I really went for it!

& they were recently ranked one of the best fashion schools in the world 2019!

Since graduating I have worked in NYC as a Fashion Copywriter for A Second Chance,

and now as a Fulfillment Coordinator for Wholesale at Julie Vos.

Wow how life has changed from teaching High School Biology in NJ...

& I am loving every minute.

coral queen

Pantone released their 2019 Color Of The Year & unfortunately it is not "Illumination" 

like I thought it would be in my fashion forecasting class...

But is "Living Coral"

I love me a good pink, 

I can work with this color and be the queen of coral.

What I Wore: glasses- Zenni Optical, lips- naked princess gloss "Barely Pink", necklace- from trip to Hong Kong in college,  sweater- second hand from Poshmark, tank {under}- NY&Co, pants- Anthropologie, booties- Target {Cat & Jack in girl's section}, bag- gift 

I have been using and loving every look that comes out of the Maybelline Soda Pop pallete that I got as a Christmas gift from my sister-in-law Rebecca, the colors are so pigmented and blend together so well, I love every look I have done with it! 

 Some new music is needed to keep me going on this windy Monday morning,

I have been loving Billie Ellish lately, 

especially "you should see me in a crown"

Also loving "when the party's over" + "Bellyache"

Added all to my 2019 Spotify Playlist and playing them on repeat.

My cousin Jaclene reminded me that I have always been into pink, 

and accessorizing to the max.

Now I am adulating in pink and just tired.

 Charlie & I have been loving Better Call Saul on Netflix, 

but they only have the first three seasons up, so now we are stuck behind and by the time they release more we will probably forget where we left off

 I did have a couple "UnFaves for Friday" this week:

I had to say goodbye to my FIT orientation water bottle, 

it leaks and it has been driving me crazy.

I love it but I can't have that unreliable ish in my life.

& I got rid of my Milly hologram wallet recently because it looks like crap.

It did not last at all, 

I had higher expectations for a wallet that was not cheap.

At least it is Friday...

New York Soul, Pt. ii

You already know I love New York, 

can you believe it has been two years since I first went to 10/10 Optics, 

got my first pair of Faniel Eyewear, and changed my whole career path?!

Explored more of my New York Soul, Pt. ii last week:

These eye mosaics in the 86th and Lexington subway station are amazing!

Headed back downtown to the Flatiron to meet up with Holly for some lunch at Eataly

We had some pear and apricot juice to start our lunch right! 

Holly has never eaten at Eataly, even though her internship is right across the street,

I had "Ravoli di Piselli" with housemate spring pea ravioli, ricotta, pecorino romano dop, mint, butter, pea tendrils

& Holly had "Pappardelle con Funghi" with pappardelle, sautéed mixed mushrooms, pecorino romano dop, parsley

Happy to have lunch with Holly before she heads back to China for a trip home, 

I will miss her until she gets back at the end of the month!

she makes fun of me because I love sugar and she drinks her coffee black

Dropped Holly off back at her internship, 

SomethingNavy also has an office in her building!
