Meet our new pup - RIDER! 🐕

We rescued a puppy!

(well it was in October...)

Yes I know we are crazy,

but we had a huge hole in our hearts from losing our bully Maggie in February.

We really missed having a big dog around.

Little Charlie doesn't know it yet 

but this was when we were picking up his new best friend!

Meet Rider!

He is a golden retriever pup and is already so loved!

{this post is so late because I wanted a picture of him by our alma mater sign 

for the announcement but we are too busy and now it is too cold}

Sat in the back between my two babies!

Rider is only 8 days younger than Little Charlie

Brought out Barry to meet his new brother!

What I Wore: glasses- Lowercase NYC via The Eyeglass Lass, earrings- Julie Vos,

 top & jeans- Old Navy, shoes- thrifted

& inside to meet Arnold!

This went surprisingly well, 

Arnold doesn't really like anyone or anything 

Rider was obsessed with this dad from Day 1, 

this is when Charlie stepped out of the kitchen

Made himself right at home

Desperately needed a bath

Photo dump coming tomorrow since I have been stashing pics 

waiting for his blog/social media debut!

I have some unfaves this week...

I mentioned these Beetlejuice candle sticks in my fall wishlist, 

also mentioned that I purchased them and that they arrived broken 

but I finally got a chance to deal with them the other day.

Spirit Halloween ended up refunding me, 

they arrived rolling around in a box with one piece of bubble on top,

one was broken at the top and both of them are very scratched.

As someone who deals with fulfillment of e-commerce, 

shipping and receiving for a living, 

this is unacceptable.

I glued the really broken one back together but I am still disappointed in these

😢 

Another unfavorite is the fact that my shoes keep breaking

😢 

I think its because I bought all of them around the same time {2012-2013}

& they are all dying at the same time 

I've been trying to fix them with some ShoeGoo, biology textbooks & binder clips, 

it is not going too well

haha

Sad.

But an excuse to go shopping?

Maybe.
