Every year I like to reflect on my anti-resolutions
and highlight my accomplishments & experiences
- Mentioned at the end of last year but I got my mom mobile, can't say I love my Kia Seltos, but it will do for now.
- I opened up about our IVF journey in my most personal blog post ever
- Saw Book of Mormon on Broadway with my friends
- Also saw Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway {was INCREDIBLE}
- Saw Billie Eilish at Madison Square Garden - got last minute tickets and I am so happy we did!
- Checked out "Night Forms: dreamloop by Klip Collective" at Grounds For Sculpture
- Wasn't all happy and fun though- we lost our Maggie girl in February, I miss her every day.
- Had a baby shower I did not want
- Had a NYC baby shower in Bryant Park which felt very full circle since that is where we had our egg retrieval and transfer at our IVF clinic
- Did some exciting home improvements- a working fireplace + runner for our stairs
- Designed and created the perfect nursery for our incoming bundle of joy
- Had a last minute pregnancy photo shoot with Brianna Lynn Photography
- Oh yeah WE HAD A FREAKIN' BABY!
- A REALLY CUTE ONE AT THAT! & had a newborn photo shoot with Brianna Lynn Photography
- Shared another personal post with Little Charlie's Birth Story
- Celebrated my last Mother's Day without holding a baby
- Celebrated our first Father's Day with a baby!
- Little Charlie got to meet his bisnonni & great grandma & great grandpa Charlie! What a lucky kid!
- Celebrated our first 4th of July as a family
- My sister Bianca got married to her partner Matt
- Visited the newly married couple in the babies first out of state sleepover in Delaware
- Took Little Charlie swimming for the first time
- Went back to work after Maternity Leave
- Celebrated 9 years being married with some new artwork
- Got zapped at Catbird for my birthday with Olivia which ended up set off a whole new career path for me
- Went to the Mushroom Festival and celebrated my birthday with my whole family
- Went on my last JV boat trip sailing around the Hudson
- Speaking of- I lost my job of the last 3.5 years at Julie Vos when I decided that I could not commute full time anymore. Still sad, still miss it, but it was the best decision I could make for my family.
- I started my own company Off The Chain Studios & not going to lie my first month being in business has been INCREDIBLE! Intro blog post HERE
- Took Little Charlie to NYC for the first time!
- Took Little Charlie to his first concert Little Feat
- Had a hilarious first family Halloween custom with Dr. Evil, Mini Me and Austin Powers... a lifetime goal if you ask me.
- Went pumpkin picking 🎃
- Started my Mommy Mondaze series to share some honest takes on motherhood
- Celebrated Thanksgiving with our 6 month old - almost exactly one year since telling my family we were pregnant!
- Adopted a new puppy - Rider! 🐕
- Little Charlie met Santa for the first time! {Christmas + NYE recaps coming soon!}
