This semester my Contemporary Retail Management class took a trip
to the Lord & Taylor flagship store in NYC to take a tour!
It was right after they revealed their holiday windows and they were so pretty!
We went to the top floor and they had such a cute conference room set up
with little goodie bags of perfume samples in them!
Our tour started in the basement where they design and create their award-winning window displays,
they create them in the basement and they actually pop up through the floor and lock into place!
They said that they are the only department store in NYC that does it this way and that it is a feature of the historical building that they believe was used for cattle.
This is a picture of the cage in the basement:
I was so impressed by the "Dress Address" 5th floor,
it was so cleanly designed and displayed!
I also fell in love with this PVC Hermes bag!
For $500 it could have come home with me...
So many people wear all black in this city...
especially for "Business Casual",
except I was wearing red bird print pants...
What I Wore: glasses- Firmoo lips- MAC "Ruby Woo", necklace- Kendra Scott {gift from hubby}, top- Whoa Wait Walmart collection, pants- Lularoe, booties- Amazon, bag- Adam Lippes for Target
I mean I wore some black, but had to mix in some patterns...
Shameless Promotions
{I mean... Fashion School @FIT NYC doesn't pay for itself!}
