Trouble {aka Holly} is in town!

I was so excited when my friend Holly from FIT wanted to come down and visit!
I picked her up from the train station in Princeton and we set off to wander campus!

Side Note: I am so happy she took this trip down before the latest cold snap,
became BABY IS IT COLD OUTSIDE!

We stumbled on this new Chinese New Year display on Princeton's campus:

I am the year of the dragon and Holly is the snake!

Of course we had to stop by the book store!

 Time for a photo shoot!

Holly called these "Big Head Photos"
& asked if I was going to renew her photographer contract
🙄

What I Wore: glasses- Faniel via 10/10 Optics, lips- Revlon Just Bitten in "Rendezvous", necklace- StyleShop @ FIT, t-shirt- Chipper Things {gift from hubby}, cardigan & pants- thrifted, booties- Anthropologie via Poshmark seller trimsoflace, bag- hand-me-down Dooney & Bourke from mom

Our main stop was the Princeton Art Museum,
this museum is free and it is amazing,
I haven't been in a few years but I always enjoy exploring this local museum

I loved this Frank Lloyd Wright stained glass:

My favorite part of the museum is always the modern art section,
I love the Andy Warhol pieces:

In the lower floor they have Ancient art from all over the world.
I told Holly that my makeup probably looked like this guy,
because I was rushing to make sure I was on time to pick her up from the train station
{I am late to everything, always.

You know I had to take Holly to The Bent Spoon

I had the "Christmas Tree" & "Sugar Plum" flavors

Yes, Christmas tree! Made with real Douglass Fir trees!

We attempted to eat lunch at Tortugas in Princeton but they were closed,
but we did get to see this amazingly detailed car:

We happened to drive by the new restaurant Two Sevens
and decided to check it out,
it happened to be THE FIRST DAY this restaurant was open to the public!

We had the "Two Sevens Margarita" too which was a nice classic margarita,
although a bit pricy at $12 each,
I would have had another one but the waiter took mine (without asking)
when it still had a few sips and I hate that.

We tried a couple of small dishes:
Guacamole, Octopus Tostada, Hongo Frito {mushroom} Taco, & Shrimp Tacos
Everything was pretty good,
our favorite was definitely the Shrimp Taco, and we ordered another one!

Holly also surprised me with a little gift!
It was this "Hot Dogs Ruin Cheeseburger's Movie Trip" print by Joey Allgood!
I decided to display it above my heels in my closet because I am the cheeseburger in this piece,
I am such a shorty and only notice it when a tall person stands in front of me at a concert
**cough cough** tall women IN HEELS in front of me at the Yeah Yeah Yeahs concert 🙄

Although this "Pigeon Homesick in Jersey" piece from Joey Allgood speaks to my heart
because now I am missing Holly as she went back up to my favorite place on Earth,
NYC 🏙

I am so happy that I got way more out of my "Textile Science" class this semester
than a basic understanding of knits and weaves,
and ended up with a great friend!

Thanks for visiting Holly!
Can't wait for all our lunch dates next semester!
