Basic B in Bean Boots

I have wanted Bean Boots from Llbean for a longggg time now.
Probably since the early days of this blog,
when I used to follow a blog called "What A Nerd Would Wear",
Tania has since stopped blogging, but I just found {& linked} her instagram.

I was so inspired by her cute outfits and loved every time she wore her Bean Boots.
It was so hard to make a decision when the time came to finally purchase a pair,
especially with the new "Small Batch" limited edition boots:
I was really between the Bean Boots 6" in "Burgundy Brown/Carbon Navy/Gum" & "Tan/Navy"

Of course there are tons of knock off boots around these days,
especially as they increase in popularity.
But there is something about the extreme craftsmanship
and lifetime warranty of Bean Boots that make them one of a kind!
I decided to go with the classic 6" Bean Boots in "Tan/Navy",
They go so perfect with my hubby's 8" Bean Boots in Dark Ash!

I loved this note that came with them:

That is exactly what we did,
we went to the outside,
to break these babies in:

What I Wore: glasses- EyeBuyDirect "Providence", necklace- Modern Hex  top- thrifted, jacket- B&B Department Store, jeans- Abercrombie & Fitch, socks- Betsey Johnson, boots- Llbean, bag- vintage Dooney & Bourke

We made it to the top!

My mani in KL "Pistachio Ice Cream" perfectly matched this leaf on our hike:

Such a beautiful fall day!

This convo in the middle of the woods is so perfectly us:
He brought a backpack and I asked what was in it and he said “matches and a knife, just in case”
He said, “Why what is in your bag?”
I said “My phone, lipstick, and an external battery charger”
He said “Well, I am ready for survival and you are ready for a photo shoot.”
I said, “How are you ready for survival when you didn’t even bring any snacks?!”
#priorities

We took a wrong path on the start of our hike,
and ended up walking up this steep hill
(steeper than it looks, trust me)

All & all it was a nice walk in the woods and broke in my new Bean Boots!

We passed this creepy and very pink house, complete with matching car,
actually pretty much pink everything

We definitely earned a beer, especially after that damn wrong turn hill...
Decided to stop by Twin Elephant Brewing Company and check it out!

I have heard great things and was happy to check it out,
my favorites were "Ooo Wee" Sour Style Ale with Peaches, & "No Breaks" Double IPA:

I loved their wood tap handles but didn't get to take my own picture of them
because this place was poppin',
but I did find a good picture of them from their instagram:

After lots of good brews we went to A Taste of Asia in Chatham,
it was so GOOD!
I had: Green Papaya Salad, Char Kuey Teow
& Malaysia's Cameron Highlights tea "BOH" tea in Lemon with Mandarin:

Such a perfect date,
 full of adventures!
