When you drag your mom to an adventure in NYC 

and she perfectly captures your life in one picture 

and it makes the perfect meme:

We started our adventure,
which consisted of 7+ miles of running around the city and my mom changing her shoes 3+ times...

with a bagel from Brooklyn Bagel {aka my favorite bagel place ever}

and we ate it in Rockefeller Center

The Jeff Koons "Seated Ballerina" from earlier in the summer left Rockefeller Center,

and they had this jmrizzi & jasonwoodside art piece on display

Spotted the incredible Saint Patrick's Cathedral,

my mom told me that this was my grandma's parish when she grew up in Harlem!

I never knew that!

I loved this beetles sculpture that I spotted,

really wish I got the name of the gallery because this looked so cool!

I am a ton of work to go to NYC with, I always have a big "To Do" list 

and have a tendency to pack too much into one day...

I am happy I can still convince my mom to take the trip with me!

A little street art that I refuse to follow:

It was across the street from this beautiful house on the Upper East Side

We walked through Central Park to get to the Upper West Side,

this was a part of the park I have never seen!

It is beautiful!

We headed to Grand Central Station to meet up with my sister for lunch at ShakeShack,

I had to idea that Grand Central had an entire floor of restaurants,

it was amazing!

Grand Central Station station is SO MUCH better than Penn Station,

wtf.

A long but fruitful day exploring NYC,
