On being creative...

I was inspired by a sorority sister Sarah Ranney and her new podcast "In A Word"

{which I have been loving, by the way}

They talked about the struggle with being creative,
 comparing yourself to others in the field and the lag between starting something creative
and the disconnect with your expectations of the product you start to make.

I feel this a lot, it has gotten better with the more I learn in fashion school,
but it is lingering.

They brought up a clip from Ira Glass, the radio genius behind a ton of podcasts I love,
such as "This American Life" and others that he has helped product.

& I really wanted to share it.

I also wanted to share an instagram account that I have been LOVING.
is the The Spirited Thrifter and she poses like all these different pictures and it is great!

I just love her creative takes!
She makes me smile =)

Happy Faves for Friday!
