Started Day 2 of our Beer Pilgrimage to Vermont with a hearty breakfast at McCarthy's
I want to see one in real life!
< From a safe distance, obviously >
Our first brewery on Day 2 was Hill Farmstead,
this was an additional hour or so from Stowe (already 6 hours from NJ)
and our main goal for this pilgrimage
We got bottles first so we didn't miss out on any of them,
got one of each + a few doubles for gifts
Headed to the tasting room after,
Overall the tasting room experience was a little disappointing,
we were so excited to try lots of brews,
but upon flipping the beer list, it says you can only have two drinks/person.
TWO DRINKS?!
We traveled 7+ hours for this!
You can taste the draft beers for free, but the samples are only a sip
With so many awesome beers, 2 is just NOT ENOUGH!
We got a bottle as our second drink,
Leaves of Grass Dec 4, 2015:
We also had the olives that are in house marinated and they were so tasty!
We got growlers to go
Until next time Hill Farmstead
On the way back to Stowe, we did some sight seeing,
Vermont is so beautiful
What I Wore: glasses- Firmoo, lips- e.l.f. "Natural" & NYX butter gloss in "Tiramisu", sweater- second hand, tank {under}- Material from Parts and Labour {from my Austin, TX trip!}, necklace- Kendra Scott {gift from hubby}, jeggings- American Apparel, rain booties- JCrew via Ebay
Check out this stud!
My little dune buggy did great on her second trip to Vermont,
this car is a trooper, I love her.

On the way back to Stowe we stopped at Lost Nation Brewery
and I am so happy we did because it became one of my favorite stops
At first I had the Gose and The Wind,
I really liked The Wind and we got a bottle to go
The hubby had Vermont Pilsner and he liked it too
My next beer was the Mosaic IPA and we took home a 4 pack,
it was one of my favorite beers of the whole trip!
The cans themselves are BEAUTIFUL!
We came home and had some of our Burlington Beer Company growler
"It's Complicated Being A Wizard"
& relaxed by the river behind our Airbnb
I could get used to this!
After relaxing, we went to the Nebraska Knoll Sugarhouse
Such a cute place, we tasted and we took home some delicious maple syrup
On the way back we stopped at Idletyme Brewing
I don't remember which beer I had, but we tried the Zog's IPA and it was good!
For dinner we went to Michael's On The Hill
We went all out with the Platinum tasting menu with wine paring,
everything was so delicious!
& a beautiful sunset to finish the night off right!
Late night beers at Doc Ponds,
another cool spot!
Such a long, fun day full of great beers!
