Beer Pilgrimage to Vermont: Day 1!

For my hubby's 29th birthday in March, I booked a spring break trip to Vermont!
We have been talking about going to Vermont for years now.

Charlie booked our first trip to Vermont in 2013 before the summer of our wedding
and we loved it!
We stayed at Bed & Breakfast and it was romantic
and just what we needed before a crazy summer!
{Recap/Throwback: Day 1 / Day 2 / Day 3}

This time our trip was a massive beer pilgrimage!
We stayed at an Airbnb in Stowe, VT and it was absolutely perfect!
More on that in a bit...
All packed and ready to go!
luggage: Adam Lippes x Target
handbag: Vera Bradley {thrifted}
tote: Yard Sale Press {from Trenton Punk Rock Flea- gift from my sister Audrey!}

Road trip time!

1st stop Burlington Beer Co,
I am so happy that this was our first stop, GREAT beers, such nice people!
We had lunch and lots of great beers (there and to go!)

My favorites were Barbe Rouge, Stainless Forest, and It's Complicated Being a Wizard

I loved the style of this place and all the funky artwork

Next stop was Alchemist

This may be my favorite picture,
I love that he is standing on that rock 😂

You can't get a pint at the brewery, but you can have free tasters and order to go

I loved these people on the bathroom, especially the lady!

Vintage Llbean sweater was perfect for this road trip,
although it was much hotter than expected

What I Wore: glasses- Bonlook, sweater- vintage Llbean, pants- Gap, booties- Target, bag- vintage Coach {thrifted}

Had such a fun time exploring with my hubby!

Our Airbnb was above a gift shop, right in the heart of town.
So perfect for what we needed!

Our host left us Laughing Moon local salted caramel chocolates
which were DELICIOUS!

Such a cute place!
2 bedrooms for under $100 a night, a steal!

We were right by the bridge and river!

We were getting cozy in this little bathroom,
limited hot water, that makes it like camping, am I right?!

I loved the views of the town from our place!

We went exploring around the town Stowe

We stopped by the Stowe Public House,
for yes, you guessed it,
yet some more beer!

Charlie mentioned on our way up that he was looking for "Sip of Sunshine" from Lawson's
but wasn't sure he would be able to find it in store,
& the first place we checked we found it!

I would say Day 1 of our Beer Pilgrimage was successful:

I can't believe how warm it was!

We looked around in the shops in town,
I loved the inside of this patagonia vest, MUSHROOM PRINT!
Nicely done, Patagonia.
I still wish that the Victoria Beckham x Target collection included that mushroom print in the women's line... see my review/purchases HERE!

We had some banging $2 tacos and beers at Tap 25

My favorite was the 14th Star "Batch 72"

We took a nice walk after tacos

We went back to our Airbnb, and we relaxed by the river.
That top floor was all ours!

We had First Drop by Upper Pass before dinner,
as recommended by the extremely helpful and knowledgeable guy at Stowe Public House,
it was good too!
So much good beer!

For dinner we went to Harrison's, as recommended by our Airbnb host

Such a cute cozy basement restaurant

I had scallops and Charlie had venison,
great service and good food.

Man, we took Vermont by storm!
Stay tuned for Day 2 & 3 🚗
