one of my best thrifting excursions

So I had a different post planned today but I must share the treasures that I found thrifting today.
I seriously think these some of my best finds ever!

1. These amazing woven pointed loafers. I literally squealed when I saw them. Great condition and fit perfectly!

2. This awesome brief case-ish bag. amazing patterns and just incredible for work!

3. This neon green blazer. enough said.

4. A book I have been wanting to read for a while:

5. & last but definitely not last: THE SWEATER OF MY DREAMS.

So story behind this sweater: I saw it on Koi Story's blog:
& fell in love. I asked her where she got it and the unfortunate answer was thrifting. That is the good and bad thing about thrifting you can hardly ever find the same item, which sucks when you love it as much as I did this sweater on Meanz. But she ever so graciously said that she would let me know if she ever decided to sell it and I saw a glimmer of hope.

But when I saw it, my initial reaction was, "Get the ----- out of here!" followed by, "This can't be the same sweater!"

Well the sweater stars aligned and I found it this morning at my favorite thrift store: The Rescue Mission In Trenton, NJ. In my size.

People say Karma is a bitch, I think she is amazing or she must really like me & my wardrobe.

Oh my gosh, that is insanely awesome! I'm so glad you found the same cardigan, I knew how much you liked it! Also, I am in love with those shoes!! :) I'm glad you had such a great thrifting trip.

Congratulations! I can really see how happy and full of joy you are about the mother of finds in that picture, so happy for you! And yes, I have a (short) list of people Karma missed... she did good this time though.
Best wishes,
Katrin
