Fashion Forecast :: Beat "The Man"

Our final project in my Fashion Forecasting class was to create a full forecast.
Our group came up with Beat "The Man" a modern twist on 50's menswear fashion.

I was responsible for the copy, word bank, & worked on the color palette,
I am so happy with how this project came out!

Fashion Forecasting was one of the best classes I took at FIT
we learned so much and were able to put what we learned into creative projects.
Here is a look at our final project:

Funny story- I wrote that copy in the middle of the night on scratch paper on my night stand.
I can't believe how perfect it worked out!

I am so proud of this video that one of my partners Destina made for our project,
it is so so perfect

For our presentation I went with a little leopard but still a structured look:

What I Wore: glasses- c/o Lafont, lips- NYX "Cairo" & Fenty "Glow", necklace- Hunt & Orchard, blazer- APC via StyleShop @FIT, top- Victoria Beckham x Target, pants- Walmart, flats- old {I think they are maybe from Modcloth}, bag- vintage Louis Vuitton

I loved checking out the final projects from the accessory students,
they were amazing!

I also love this sunglass print from the textile hallway
by Madeline McCarthy in the Textile Design Department:

So much inspiration in this school,
I am really really going to miss it.
I can't believe I am graduating this week...
