The spring semester is in full swing 

and this post by dizzylizzyb on Instagram is exactly how I am feeling: 

One of my favorite parts of my days at FIT in NYC is exploring the student run Style Shop:

This dog tag is too perfect for my pug who gets caught in the litter box 

whenever he is left unsupervised:

Last semester I fell in love with this burgundy top with floral embroidered sleeves:

Had to take it home, 

along with this elephant bracelet, eyeglass necklace, and fish bone necklace:

Shoutout to my fashion school friend Holly for taking my pictures! 

I bought this top as a little retail therapy before our Fabric Science class, 

coffee was also necessary & my name is apparently now "Ema"...

I loved the days where we got to go to the lab:

In today's lab we watched demos on weaving: 

It is so amazing to see how technology has changed the fashion industry,
from shuttles and looms to all computerized:

We have technology to thank for lots of our patterned textiles and garments 

& you know those are my favorites!

I fell in love with this sticker on this mailbox 👀 while walking around in NYC:

Grabbed a poke bowl for dinner at Maui Onion, 

delicious but a little pricy, I think PokeChan is a better option... 

Time to hop on the train home, 

I am excited for the "new" Penn Station that will be in the old post office building, 

Penn Station is, for lack of a better term, a shit hole. 

& so is New Jersey Transit, 

this was an interesting experience last semester:
