Sunday Shopping: Universal Thread @ Target

I have been so excited to shop the new Universal Thread collection @ Target! 

It was released in stores & online on February 4th:

While waiting for the release I checked out the collection online 

& fell in love with these three pieces: 

1. Mid-Rise Embroidered Skinny Jeans Light Wash {$30}

2. Ruffle Sleeve T-Shirt {$18}

3. Wenda Cut Out Booties in "Cognac" {$33}

I ordered the booties at the end of January because they were released early online 

and I knew that they would be popular so I had to get them ASAP, 

& I was right, they are sold out on line now. 

I ordered the jeans in a size 10 Short and the shirt in a Medium 

when the collection was released in February:

The jeans fit perfectly! 

I am so used to rolling up the bottom of my jeans because I am a shorty, 

but the 10 Short is so perfect, I love them!

The top is a little boxy and thin, 

which the reviews online say all the tops in this collection are cut that way

What I Wore: glasses- Warby Parker, lips- Dior "Lip Glow" + Wet n Wild ""Boogie White Lights" gloss, top & bottom & booties- Universal Thread @ Target, bag- vintage  

These booties are so cute, definitely a favorite.

Might have to get the ivory color if they come back in stock. 

The other "Autumn Braided Cut Out Fashion Boots" in the collection are cute too! 

I am also thinking about getting these white jeans with green embroidery, 

I wish they had them in a short cut because the other ones fit so perfectly. 

I also love this marble Triangle Stones Necklace!

I am intrigued by this Buckle Flap Crossbody Bag, 

I would like to see the size and shape in person to see if it would hold what I need:

Those booties though...

I may be dressing like Spring is coming 

but last night Mother Nature reminded us that it is still winter...

Oh well, I will wear my embroidered floral jeans and continue to wish for Spring!
