Science of Style: FIT Orientation Day 2

Day 2 of Fashion School Orientation!

 What I Wore: glasses- c/o Faniel via 10/10 Optics, lips- YSL "Rogue Volupte Shine 62K300", necklace- gift from my cousin Sabrina, blouse- thrifted, tank- Walmart, blazer- Rebecca Minkoff, pants- Old Navy, boots- vintage, bag- Stella McCartney {via Rachel Antonoff's closet sale on Refinery 29 in 2013}

Did lots of exploring of NYC on Day 2 of orientation

I stopped by The Juice Shop and had a "Blue Monday" smoothie was that delicious!

I finally got to shop at Buffalo Exchange!
Everyone talks about this store but I have never seen one IRL,
I loved this leopard cardi, and leather vests:

I also loved these booties and leopard cowboy boots,
I seriously considered these Manolo Blahnik flats, to you know,
solidify the whole Carey Bradshaw moment...

While in NYC, you know I have to stop by Madison Square park...

Had to check out 10/10 Optics to see what they have,
These are l.a. Eyewear & are so sparkly and awesome!
Check out those CROME babies!

I realized that The Vintage Twin was going to have BOTH of their pop up stores open
when I was staying in the city!

I really wanted to check out their redesigned flannels!

I stopped by the Broadway location

It was awesome to see their JEANius bar in real life!
SO.MANY.PAIRS.

Pretty pricy {$100-$200+} but I mean you could find the perfect pair!

Check out this AMAZING sequin tiger top!

Peaked into their work room...
woah!

Loved this vintage sweater!

I tried on lots of their signature flannels

It was hard to find one that fit, some were very large, some way too small.
It was like Goldilocks up in there.

But I decided on this brown flannel with the twins, just like I wanted!

I shared this sweater with my sister Silvia because I knew she would LOVE it.
Sure enough, she made me get it for her...

I loved the inside/outside vibe of the popup shop with interior windows

Decided to check out the Prince Street location because it was right around the corner!

I went to Oficina for some happy hour margaritas!
Loved the mint water too!

I made reservations at Sushi Dojo for their Restaurant Week menu,
I have wanted to try this restaurant for OVER A YEAR, literally.

It just looks SO good on Instagram:

Wow.
Wow is pretty much all I have to say.
It was seriously delicious, melt in your mouth sushi,
some of the best I've ever had.

Time to go back to my tiny room in my Airbnb,
The common area was nice and serene with all day breakfast snacks available!

I thought the ceiling choice for the bedrooms were interesting...
ear plugs were provided and much needed.
