In case you were wondering why,
when we were in Colorado, I could not stop saying "RED RUM"
since "The Shining" fictional hotel is in Colorado
and the hallways of our hotel reminded me of the movie
and I enjoyed creeping out my sisters with my impression...

Comfy flannel for some hibachi with my family!
Poppy is a champ!
We are so lucky that Poppy recovered from his crazy medical issues this summer,
I don't want to think about our family with out him.
I am happy that I captured my parents dancing to "Hotel California",
it is their song and a family favorite <3
But back to some red rum...
this romantic part of "The Shining" is my favorite:
Wendy, Darling.
Light of my life.
So terrifying, so iconic.
I can also be found reciting that line to everyone from my husband to my fur babies.
{Just the "light of my life part" not the "bashing" part...}
After a great dinner and trip, time to go home with this little lap pug
He is the best cuddler,
ending on a positive, not scary, note
