Wear It Wed: Paint Brush Top & Adventures

The hubby decided we were going to plant a garden this year...

So off to a farm in South Jersey to pick up our plants!

In true husband form,
he didn't listen to how many plants I thought we would need,
so we ended up with this little box of plants...

Needless to say we had to go back to make our garden look like something haha...

Eventually we went home to plan the garden!

I think Charlie is beginning to resemble a gnome...

Before we left Columbus, we had to check out the infamous farmers market!

We ran into our neighbors who run a food stand "Banh Mi Bros"

They said they are working on a food truck!

We had the #1 Grilled Pork Banh Mi and it was AMAZING.
Honestly- one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. ever.
I would drive back to Columbus just for this.

Had to rock this paint brush top from InTheLeopardCloset for these adventures!

What I Wore: glasses- c/o- Coastal, lips- Revlon lip butter "Candy Apple", top- paint brush top for sale in my Etsy Shop: InTheLeopardCloset {$12}, pants- Target, flats- ?, bag- 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target

Apparently we were meanies,
because we went to have a beer and wings at the famous Chickie's and Pete's

The building is cool, wings were good, oysters decent and decent brew list...
probably would not go again though...

Checked out a GoodWill on the way home,

Picked up this Norman Rockwell print,
thought it would be perfect for our kitchen!

I love it!

I also got this silver tray...

That tray had a different fate in mind when I bought it...
I was hoping to put it behind our fireplace gate to place an assortment of candles on it,
since our fireplace is sealed

I had all this inspiration in mind...
1. Pursuit of Handyness via Good Housekeeping / 2. capturedbystait via Popsugar / 3. DIY Fun Ideas / 4. Home Nicers / 5. Paige Knudsen

See a lot more home decor inspiration on my Pinterest "Home Body" Board!

But it is too large for where I needed it, but I love it as a centerpiece on our coffee table!
Not giving up on my candle idea, but maybe in the fall I can do a make over with it!

A DIY that was successful was this simple framing of two cards
that I wanted to add to my gallery wall...

I love them framed together!
Their messages are perfect!

I love the gallery wall going up to my attic closet!
& I added in this horse shoe that I scored for $2 at the Columbus Farmers Market!

All that is missing is some leopard carpet on the stairs!
=)
