Humble Beauty #18

I was reflecting on my makeup looks when I first started blogging
{I've been doing a lot of reminiscing lately, I have a mini series coming to the blog soon!}

And I came across this gem from a guest post on The Daily Dani,
where I discuss not changing up my makeup and "saving" on makeup...
Wow times have changed!

Fast forward,
I am perhaps too into makeup these days,
One of my new purchases has been a long time coming
the Jaclyn Hill Morphe Palette!

I have been loving it so far,
especially the pink shades and the orange transition shades!

A more impulse buy was the Lorac Pro Palette 2 from Kohls...
After a bunch of swatches, it had to come home with me!

Loving the rose gold shade and the navy,
The nectar shade is great for the crease!
{In unrelated news- I love these throwback blue test booklets for blog ideas!}

Another thing that I've really been loving is the Black Radiance Baked Blush in "Warm Berry",
as an eye shadow as suggested by Bailey B on YouTube

I ran out of my Urban Decay "All Nighter" Setting Spray and wanted to give the Loreal one a shot,
The Loreal one is $17 and a drug store item compared the Urban Decay spray at $30

I have been enjoying it but I don't think it is as good as the Urban Decay one,
Differences:
- Price point is slightly different, Loreal can be way cheaper with coupons!
- Loreal one is a cloudy off white color, Urban Decay is more clear
- Loreal spray is harsher than the Urban Decay nozzle

I don't see a big difference in the lasting power of my makeup with each sprayI put the Loreal spray into an old Urban Decay bottle- loving that mist better!

I was not kidding about the usage of coupons!
I got the Loreal spray for $5.48!

I love this month's ipsy bag!
The products are okay... but the actual bag is so cute!

I am excited to try the Urban Decay lip gloss,
but I wish this sample was packaged in a user/travel friendly way

This month's ipsy bag is similar to one I spotted in the check out line in Sephora:

I also tried the new PinchMe Plus service where you pay $3-$4 to get guaranteed samples a day earlier than a normal Tuesday release,
I was not really happy with the selection and don't think I will use this service again,
more beauty less bull!

A few month's ago I was contacted to review these Amazingly Beautiful oil moisturizers,
I don't currently use essential oils in anyway but I have been enjoying these,
They leave my skin smooth,
but my house does not have air condition and they haven't been getting absorbed,
I am looking forward to using them more in the fall and winter
I normally don't review these types of products but I decided to give them a shot
& I have been enjoying these oils over the last couple of months.

They also mentioned that for a limited time, the manufacturer is willing to offer my readers one FREE bottle of Amazingly Beautiful A.M. Moisturizer (for women) or The Man A.M. Moisturizer (for men) and agreed to send one bottle FREE if readers would pay a minimal shipping and handling charge. A total value of over $40.00. Click here to get your FREE Bottle and FREE reports now!

** I am not being compensated for the above link, I have been enjoying them and wanted to pass on the offer they sent to me.

empties:
bath: Revlon Colorsilk Haircolor in "Deep Burgundy"- a shade darker than I normally do but I love it! / Zotos Quantum "Riveting Reds" shampoo & conditioner- I think this helped my color last but it left my hair dry and tangled, required a leave-in conditioner to help / Bath and Body Works "Black Tie" candle- Love this smell, I have been into deeper more cologne type smells / Caviar CC Cream- love this stuff, will eventually purchase but it is expensive! / St. Ives Apricot Scrub- I love this stuff, have used it for years and will continue to use it / Everyday Luxe "Bedroom" candle- loved this, highly scented and nice

beauty: Fekkai Blowout Dry Shampoo- I loved this one, I really liked the smell of this one / Glade "Cashmere Woods" air freshener- I also like this smell, I enjoyed it more in the spray from than the candle / Klorne Dry Shampoo- I also enjoyed this one both not my absolute favorites but both good / Maybelline Line Stiletto- this used to be my ride or die but it is a little dry and I have been enjoying the Sephora brand more lately / Softlips cube- got this from Influenster to try & really enjoyed it, have repurchased! I think it is way better than the EOS balms.

What are you loving in the beauty world this month?
Let me know!
