Now that my NYC commute requires some actually city walking ABOVE ground
{my last job required 3 subway rides so I didn't go above ground much}
I have been talking some style notes on some outfits that I have been inspired by,
sometimes the outfits are so cute that this @sarahandersencomics 🔛 Instagram
is hilariously accurate:
Today's train (style) spotter outfit is inspired by a girl on the train,
the note I saved in my phone said:
"embroidered floral top, gingham pants or plaid, brown shoes: booties"
nailed it.
What I Wore: glasses- c/o Zenni Optical, lips- Sephora lip liner "Nothin' but Nude" + Fenty Glow gloss, earrings- Julie Vos "Penelope Stud Small", necklace- Julie Vos "Bee Delicate", top- Anthropologie, pants- Who What Wear @ Target, booties- Walmart
RIP to my black and white Victoria Beckham x Target gingham pants,
I tried to wear them on this day but the zipper broke and I could not get them off
and had to physically cut them off my body.
I am all for some street style fashion inspo but sometimes it can feel like this:

So instead of running out and shopping for something that I have seen in NYC,
I have been trying to find similar items in my wardrobe and embrace my own cool.
It is tough but it is true that "comparison is the thief of joy"- Roosevelt
