Torrential downpours are a unwelcome surprise in NYC, 

especially with being poked by people's massive umbrellas and flooding city streets:

What I Wore: glasses- c/o Zenni Optical, lips- Elizabeth Mott "Tints & Sass" & Loreal "Ruby Opera", necklace- gift from hubby, dress- Gap, jacket- Who What Wear x Target, belt- Old Navy, flats- Llbean, bag- gift from my Nonna

 I started this day off with the best intentions for this outfit but it started to pour 

which soaked through my white lady bug dress that kept riding up 

& sticking in the rain..

I had no choice but to get some pants to make the rest of this day bearable. 

Thank you Old Navy for being open at 8 am...

Need me some new gingham pants too since my Victoria Beckham x Target ones

 died the other day...

Not exactly the severe pattern mixing lewk I going for 

but it works out of necessity...

At least all this rain is good for Charlie's garden:

The garden has gotten even larger recently!
