(wo)men in black: New Job @ Vault Brewing

As I mentioned in my Pretty Bird makes me a happy lady post a couple weeks ago,
I recently got a new job as a server at Vault Brewing in Yardley, PA!

We have loved the Vault since we first discovered it in January 2013
I remember having my first Sweet Potato Ale, pizza, and s'more
and then convincing my (then) fiancee to take me back for more the same week!

To be working there is a different, but equally awesome, experience.
I have always enjoyed the Vault staff and am happy to join their ranks.
This is the perfect opportunity for me to learn more about craft beer
and make some money to support my fashion school endeavors!

Even though we have been going to the Vault for almost 5 years now,
I had never been on an official tour
Led by one of the brewers, Rich, at 12:30 on Saturdays.
you can register online: $5 gets you a tour, tasting and branded tasting glass to keep!
#totallyworthit

It was such a good tour!
& I would know, it is a New Jersey law to take a brew tour at a craft brewery,
so during our big Beer Bucket List a couple summers ago, we went on LOTS of brew tours.
Probably close to 50...

The downside to this new job is that I have to wear all black,
all the time.

Getting dressed has been a lot like this cartoon by Loryn Brantz on Instagram:

I went to Walmart and picked up:
 1 pair of black skinny jeans {$11} / 2 pairs of leggings {$4 each} /
2 v-neck t-shirts {$6 each} / 2 polo shirts {$9 each}

Perfect work wear that I don't have to worry about getting dirty!

What I Wore: glasses- Marc Jacobs c/o Optically.co, lips- Tarte "Birthday Suit", top & pants- Walmart, flats- Safe T Step "Slip Resistant Sasha Quilt Bow Flat" from Payless

I mean, if I have to wear all black and anti slip shoes,
they can still be cap toe and quilted,
right?!
I am happy to have found these Safe T Step "Slip Resistant Sasha Quilt Bow Flats" from Payless

I have to wear all black but I can still change up my eye glasses and makeup!
This has definitely become my creative outlet these days
