Bring in up to two bags of clothing to donate and receive two coupons for 15% off an item of your choice! 

H&M then does one of three things with your donated clothing: 

Rewear - Clothing that can be worn again is marketed worldwide as second-hand goods.

Reuse -Textiles that are no longer suitable to wear are converted into other products, such as cleaning cloths.

Recycle -Textiles that can’t be reused get a new chance as textile fibres, or are used to manufacture products such as damping and insulating materials for the auto industry.

I tired it out yesterday!

I am not usually a big shopper at H&M,

 but I was happy to pick up an amazing sweatshirt & hot pink work pants for 15% off both!

Barry agrees, "Don't let fashion go to waste"

I also went thrifting with one of my friends today! 

I usually thrift alone so it was awesome to have company =)

& we scored some amazing items!

Got a floral blouse, a nautical button up, a striped top with embellished shoulders, a Simply Vera Vera Wang bow belt, & a LILLY PULITZER blouse! 

 Also got a gold mirrored tray {to hold my perfume!}, AMAZING multicolor booties, & two skirts- one tweed and one floral print- both need to be hemmed

Also checked out some fab furniture

 & learned that on Friday's furniture is 1/2 off! 

That is where you can find me on Fridays from now on!

I just love thrifting and rocking one of a kind pieces!

I wore so much purple today, I felt like Barney... as in the purple dinosaur. 

I will wear brights, it is spring after all

back to winter plaids, since it is still snowing...

So it has been snowing / ugly winter weather all day.

Doesn't mother nature know it is spring break?

So I stayed inside and hung out with these babies all day,

this pug is the cutest! 

cuddled all day and even sat with me while I washed dishes

This weather also made me want to break out my latest plaid since it is not quite floral spring season.

sunday shopping spree: thrifting!

After watching a series of thrift hauls on my latest addition- youtube, 

I had to check out the hidden treasures from my goodwill.

lots of interesting furniture pieces:

& so many amazing patterns!

these all came home with me... 

I was especially excited about the raccoon print top, it is Rebekah Maysles for Anthropologie,

too strange to say no!

Also found these mirrored chests, 

they will look amazing in my future closet / dressing room!

Went on an adventure today to the new Urban Outfitters in Princeton:

Some super cute items to lust after,

resisted the adorable animal face flats in the last picture, 

justified by the fact that I did get these swan flats.

Fell in love with this hello kitty print button up the mens section,

the only one around & was $9... needless to say... it came home with me.

Scored this purple ring for $2!

originally I went to see if they had this hologram nail polish, apparently it is online only,

but they ordered it for me and waived the shipping costs! 

saved me $10! 

if I love it I may have to get the other colors too...

Also got some new drug store products to try for spring:

Can't wait to try these new nail colors &  baby lips

 and got my first eyebrow kit, really makes a lot of difference!

I suppose watching thousands of youtube videos makes me want to try all this new stuff!

So I will be spending my spring break:

1. trying not to go shopping

2. playing with makeup & nails

3. hanging out with these guys:

IT IS OFFICIALLY SPRING BREAK!!

Oh boy did I need this!

My new Hello Kitty nerd key holder is the only thing that kept me going this week...

Apparently spring does not mean warmer weather in New Jersey anymore. 

Evidence by snow flurries almost every night this week.

I am still living like it is actually spring
