plant lady print :: a completed Wanted Wednesday!

You know I have wanted to give Magnus Clothing Co. a whirl for a while now, 

I even featured their amazing collars in a Wanted Wednesday post!

When Magnus Clothing Co. contacted me about restocking the 2 pack 

of the Plant Lady collar with the Butterfly collar, 

I knew it was time to pull the trigger:

So happy I did, these collars are amazing! 

In other plant lady news, 

I also finally purchased the leaf print PARTYSKIRTS off my Summer 2018 wishlist

that nicolahearts had for sale in her Poshmark closet, 

what a great deal at $35 

Had to layer up the plant lady prints with some watermelons!

In other news, Nicole from Feel Good, Dress Better blog and Writeslikeagirl Instagram 

posted this outfit with this JCrew swimmer print t-shirt and I am obsessed! 

{also love the bathing suit version of this print}

I have been hunting for it, apparently it is sold out from JCrew but it is on eBay, 

and now high on my wishlist! 

Maybe I just want to live in Nicole's closet...

not the bees knees, the bees toes?

I crossed a couple of things off my Wish List / Shopping List recently:

Did a get a real Cartier bracelet for $6,000+?! 

Nope, but I got a good knock off in Thailand that satisfies me.

The real mission accomplished was the bone loafers that I have wanted for ages! 

I also went for a cheaper version and I was so exited to finally find them in my size

 for a good price from sm000re on Poshmark: 

Perfect timing because diet_prada just went through the history of these types of shoes 

on their Instagram story, which I thought was so interesting:

I also liked these "Lady Chewbacca" flats as in ebethlovesyou {now fraufoureyes} Instagram story... 

because why not add a little fur with these Penny Loves Kenny Aaron Fuzzy Flat! 

But back to the successful completion of toe loafers from my Wishlist!

I had to go back to Natural Nail Bar to get my nails touched up because the mani for my grad party didn't really last, and I passed this awesome garage with tons of vintage VW bugs! 

I love this holographic pink but it didn't last either:

Plan on Playa :: Erin Condren Customized Blog Planner for 2018!

I have always heard good things about the Erin Condren planners, 

but have always thought, "what could be so good about them anyways"...

 until I got one from the PHL Bloggers convention, 

& became hooked on them.

I knew I needed a new one this year and put it on my Christmas 2017 Wishlist,

but I wanted it fully customized so it had to be more of a #treatyoself gift

& I did just that, 

fully customized my Life Planner from Erin Condren.

I went with: 

 • Personalized leopard cover and back cover with blog logo, 

 • Horizontal days in the colorful version {of course} 

• Rose Gold ring binding

I also added on lots of the accessories for my planner: 

 • Snap in Stylized Sticky Notes

 • Elastic Band Trio in "Metallic"

 • Snap In To Do List 

{although I didn't get the wet erase markers so I need to get something to write on this with now...} 

 • Leopard Sticker Sheet

 • Pen Holder

 • Customized Leopard Notepads (2 pack)

When I ordered my planner (December 29th) the website had a coupon for 30% off 

with code "PLANON2018" which saved me over $30!  

When my beautiful planner finally arrived (took about 2 weeks) I squealed with delight

and honestly thought about calling out of work so that I could play with it all day!  

It also arrived with a "Welcome Pack" of gifting stickers 

It was time to put it all together! 

Ah, I am so in love. 

Goodbye 2017 || Hello 2018

Even better that my planner fits in my Red Bubble "Never Regular" pouch!

"Got a bag and fixed my teeth"

So it happened. 

I got one of my dream handbags.

The Louis Vuitton Tivoli GM has been my #1 dream bag for as long as I can remember, 

I am talking high school or maybe even earlier. 

It has been on my wishlist since I started this blog.

I don't even know what it is about this bag but I have always loved it.

I remember when I first saw it in real life on a woman at Target in Princeton,

all my desires were solidified. 

I occasionally check on this bag on Louis Vuitton.com,

mainly to watch the price steadily increase... 

until one day Charlie informed me that MY DREAM BAG HAD BEEN DISCONTINUED.

I was so upset. 

Pretty sure I cried. 

I immediately started looking for verified used bags.

I have never really wanted a new one because I knew it would stress me out.

The older Louis Vuitton bags are so much prettier with their patina.

& I found one. 

I found one for $1,400 LESS than it was retailing before being discontinued.

This happened at a time where our financial situation seemed to be on the uptick,

because let me be honest, we struggle. 

A lot. 

Being periodically unemployed / Owning a house / Going back to school 

is just too much.

I'll leave that sensitive topic alone (for now)

Was getting this handbag now a perfect decision? No.

Do I have buyers remorse/guilt? Yes, some.

But it was my 4th wedding anniversary / upcoming 10 year dating anniversary gift.

& every time I see it or carry it I fall even more in love.

Found it on Poshmark, 

and I was thankful that Poshmark offers Poshmark Concierge, 

where they inspect items and provide assurance that item is authentic 

Arnold was also happy with the big box...

She is a beauty.

While hustling these days, I have been rocking out to Cardi B "Bodak Yellow",

and really relate to the lyrics "got a bag and fixed my teeth".

Since I did get THE bag, and have been working on fixing my teeth 

after a broken molar and emergency root canal... 

You know I had to add it to my 2017 Spotify Playlist.

Around our anniversary we tried a new restaurant, 

Charcoal in Yardley, PA.

Restaurant Week was the perfect opportunity to try this place.

Everyone speaks highly of this restaurant.

The menu is seasonal and changes all the time, 

and the menu for restaurant week looked amazing!

Especially with their photos on Instagram and Facebook: 

We had:

First Course: Hamachi Crudo & Sourdough Bucatini {both pictured above}

Second Course: Grilled Swordfish {pictured above} & Pork Loin 

Third Course: Peaches {pictured below} & Blueberry Cobbler Glazed Donut {pictured above}

I loved everything, 

it was delicious.

I can't until the next time we get to eat at Charcoal!
