Winter Wishlist 2023 & What I'm Watching!

I've caught up on a lot of shows that I have had on my list to watch.

This was pretty much what I was expecting from a movie like this.
I enjoyed the outfits more than the whole plot but there is a little twist in there.
Overall I enjoyed it, good background movie.

I was really interested in this concept,
especially after a good critical review on the podcast on Fresh Air.
Love Natasha Lyonne, it is getting a little repetitive
but I am still enjoying the murder mystery twisty plots.

This was a WILD ride, graphic, thought provoking and so well shot.
I really enjoyed this- but buckle up.
One of the best movies I've seen in a while.

Exactly what you would expect for a movie about teen royals with super powers {spoiler alert?},
a little plot twist in there as well, beautiful setting for the movie too

Talk about a WILD ride, I am still not exactly sure what the f was going on in this movie,
it is crazy, almost scifi, has a little bit of everything.
And I mean EVERYTHING.

Uhh still not exactly sure what happened in this movie.
Wanted to like it but it was just okay.
Had such potential

I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS,
it is giving me the same feelings like the Walking Dead did when it started (+ was actually good),
I am so excited for every episode and it is so well written, shot and I'm loving it.

This made me laugh:

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would.
Loved the cameos and I though it was as well done as it could have been.
Charlie asked me if it was necessary and probs not but it does take it to a new generation.
I liked it!

This is in Spanish so we watched it with subtitles, not dubbed (I can't stand dubbed shows),
this was a little slow at first but WOW does it build and get crazy.
Lots of twists and I enjoyed it.

I liked Season 2 more than I thought I would,
Subtle and not so subtle family drama, I do enjoy this

I think Season 4 is where this journey ends for me with You, I am just not interested anymore.
I don't find Joe compelling anymore and I am just kinda over it.
I gave up

What are you watching these days?!
Send me some recs!

eye spy (+ what I'm watching)

Hanging in the car while daddy picks up some snacks!

What I Wore: glasses- Vooglam, earrings- Julie Vos, necklace- Alefbet Jewelry, top- Forever 21, pants- Old Navy, boots- via Poshmark

A little What Im Watching on this Wednesday!
I mostly hate watch this show...
I just don't think it is very good,
yes I watch it for the fashion (which I also don't particularly like)
and the drama (which is quite ridiculous)
but it is a good back ground show 🤷🏻‍♀️

I did love this leopard face print jacket- found online HERE

Marcel The Shell With Shoes On rented on YouTube:
We also paid (I know, right) to watch this movie,
and I would do it all over again.
After hearing the creators talk about it on the podcast, Death Sex & Money
I knew I had to find a way to watch this.

It is so thoughtful, cute, and funny.
I really enjoyed this.

Well this was dark to say the least.
This guy is so unstable I can't believe so many people watched, promoted
and supported him without getting him mental help.
No wonder why he ended up in New Jersey State Prison... not too far from where I live
😬

This was traumatizing.
Simultaneously brings you back to the days of college while
making you terrified about all the things that could have gone terribly wrong.
Oh god- that episode of the girl from Robbinsville, NJ (a town right next to mine)
who got in a car she thought was her Uber?!
absolutely heartbreaking

I was mesmerized by this series.
I felt like it got crazier and crazier in every episode.
Of course I believe every woman in this show-
how could you look at this situation and not believe there was rampant sexual assault and abuse?!
Irregardless if the bunnies were paid or "looked happy"...
Wild to me.

Barry on HBO:
We just finished all three seasons of Barry,
this show is pretty dark.
I enjoyed it but it has some very graphic and sometimes abrupt scenes.
Hank is my favorite character

The Circle "Singles" on Netflix:
I LOVE this reality show.
I think the "singles" aspect was pretty forced and not necessary but I still loved this season.
This season has so many characters that I loved: Raven, Chaz and Sam

What are you watching these days?
I need some new shows!

it's only Wednesday

{source: an oldie from Be A Bombshell Cosmetics on Facebook}

That really made me laugh,
had to wear my Wednesday inspired outfit

What I Wore: glasses- Savant & Scholar {gift from my in-laws}, earrings- Julie Vos, top- Victoria Beckham x Target, pants- Walmart, boots- Nine West x Pamela Love

Obviously I am loving the show Wednesday on Netflix
I am sad it is over, already looking forward to the next season!

Here is what else I am watching right now!
LOVING this show!
I forgot how much I love this subtle and not so subtle drama,
it is so good!
So excited for the finale on Sunday

I enjoy this show, it is a good background show.
This season was a little crazy and felt a little outdated
since so much other stuff has happened since it filmed,
I feel like it should have an update episode to catch us up.

I thought Season One was funny
& I loved watching the roommates relationships develop,
still true of Season 2!

So... that leaves one question

I think I am #9...

Also what are you watching?
I need some new recs!

On Wednesday’s we wear pink (Coach loafers) & talk about what we are watching

I am obsessed with these Coach "Hanna Loafers",
this pink is PERFECTION!
Could not wait to wear them

& what better debut of these loafers than with my Kika Vargas x Target dress!

What I Wore: glasses- Faniel Eyewear, hoops- Julie Vos "Monaco Hoops", dress- Kika Vargas x Target, loafers- Coach "Hanna Loafer"

Went out to celebrate the oldest Charlie Pop's 80th birthday!

It is Wednesday, so lets catch up on
We finished it during Halloween, it was overall pretty good,
some episodes are better than others.
My favorites: Lot 36, The AutopsyThe Murmuring

I really enjoyed this show,
I think this is worth getting Apple TV just to watch.
such an interesting/disturbing concept.
Really makes you think about the concept of work / life balance in a whole different way...

I already knew the story and it takes place in NJ.
So disturbing.
The amount of negligence that allowed this to continue
was eyeopening but not surprising really.

We just finished this & I thought this was so good!
Steve Carell in this serious role proves he can do it all.
The story was captivating and one that you didn't want to end.

overall we enjoyed it but some of the time jumps and recasting took you out of the story,
looking forward to the series continuing.

How cool is this tour bus I spotted in New York, it is 3D!

initially I enjoyed this but it was pretty slow overall.
I heard it was not renewed which is kinda sad since I thought it was actually picking up at the end
{Yellowjackets on Showtime is a similar concept but much better written,
more compelling and more interesting. Excited for the next season of that show}

I have heard so many good things about this show and now I know why.
It is witty with amazing costuming.
They used to film this all around my old office, happy I finally got to see what the hype is about.

this was amazing!
Could be hard to follow at times but such an interesting story line with incredible acting.
We also watched this with a newborn so there was a lot going on

I LOVE the "Punk" cardigan that the main character Evelyn wears at the end of the movie:

this should be required viewing, especially this day in age.
Sad to think that this is the reality for a growing number of women in America
who don't have access to abortion care:

Now on to some reality TV that I have been watching:
I liked this show, I thought it was an interesting take on a real-estate type show,
it was interesting to see the way they think about investments and making deals

I like this show even though their design aesthetic is not exactly mine...
LOTS of white

I love this show, especially when @dczeey makes an appearance

I was blown away by the amount of work they get done in a matter of hours.
I hope that it doesn't cut too many corners though,
especially in that one episode where they add a whole damn bathroom to the back of someone's house

Another hot garbage reality show I watch.
Not a fan of any of the people in Season 2 but I did watch "After The Altar" 😬

I thought the people in Season 3 were much more tolerable (well most of them)

I personally think Machine Gun Kelly is pretty talented,
it was interesting to see his transition into more pop-punk from rap
& his relationship with Megan Fox

this needed to be made years ago, a lot of this I already knew,
it did feel like an Epstein doc at points

I love a fashion competition show!

I started watching this one after a girl I went to high school with
@julia_oldspoolsewing was on Season 1 Ep 10!

Also shout out to the guy who is obsessed with pugs...

{just realized there is a Season 3 out?! Putting it on my watch list!}

**spoiler alert** the winner is an FIT alumni!

Here are the pieces that I liked from the "Making the Cut" Amazon Store

Also loved these looks from the finalist Gary,
Almost bought that Levi's jacket
the closest I've come to actually ordering something from the "Making the Cut" Amazon Store

Loved the esthetic of the other Andrea too, so much sparkle!
Would were any and all of these pieces!

This is me when it comes to any fashion competition show:

What are you watching these days?!
I need some recs!
