I can't believe it is fall! 

It was an um interesting summer...

I worked most of the summer at an outdoor pool and it was beautiful, 

like an old school summer camp

What I Wore: glasses- Steve Madden, lips- Revlon Matte Balm "Elusive", top- vintage Liz Claiborne,    shorts & flats- Walmart, bag- vintage Dooney & Bourke {was my mom's}

Faves for Friday!

I enjoyed adding come Colorado details to my home decor,
mainly rocks that I brought home, in true Emma fashion...

I love the earthy elements on this side table in our guest room:
with the drift wood from Tacoma, red rock from Colorado, and coral from Mexico.
Complete with dried baby's breath and eucalyptus!

Added a bigger one to our mantle too!

This has been Charlie in his natural habitat,
salsa runs through his veins.

A huge fave has been Charlie's homemade sauce with tomatoes from our garden!
So good!
He even has the plating down, like a fancy restaurant in our kitchen <3

We have been adulting hard,
had to get a new washer machine,
I had no idea that these things have gotten SO FANCY,
like taller than me, TV screens, etc, etc

No thanks, we got a medium model and our clothes are finally clean again!

I have also been loving this noosa yogurt,
we had it in Colorado and I was so happy to find some on the East Coast!

So I didn't really "milk life for all it's worth" this summer...
I don't know what happened, it flew by.

My Summer 2016 Bucket List was pretty much a complete failure,

Really the only thing I did was listen to some podcasts,
but didn't make a dent in my list,
and I blogged about my Tattoo Collection.

Oh well, it is fall, moving on.
Time for pumpkins, plaid and I still need a new job...

doors are opening!

I haven't been doing too great with my Summer 2016 Bucket List,

but I did visit a new brewery right around the corner from my parent's house,

Jughandle Brewing Company 

I liked all the beers!
We will be coming back again and again.
I can already tell!

& they do crowlers!

We also had our "5th sister"/childhood friend/neighbor Michelle's bridal shower
 at Porta in Asbury Park

I loved the doily and vintage hobnail vases from her grandmother with baby's breath

A nice time with the ladies I love!

yes it is cats!
So weird and so awesome.

Summer 2016 Bucket List!

This was so fun last year, 

I decided to give my self some fun motivation & do another Bucket List this summer! 

So here it is! 

In case you can't read my handwriting / a little more details:

- Find a new job {yet again}: yup I am back in the market, my last teaching job was a great experience but it was a maternity leave potation and it has come to an end earlier than previously expected, but I have an interview today so I am excited to see what the future holds!

- Revisit Beer Bucket List! Complete old {from the Summer 2015 Beer Bucket List}
& add new ones, lots have been opening, almost daily, it feels like. I would like to not be so crazy about it but make a point to do some traveling and cross some others for the list!

- Hike trail in Franklin that I pass everyday on the way to work

- Pull weeds / help with the landscaping and garden at home

- Keep up with InTheLeopardCloset (and PoshMark) + prepare for the Aug 7th Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market, need summer items want to do a destroyed denim bin!

- Vermont or Virginia Road Trip + brewery stops!

- Do an Escape Room with my family! Loved it when I did it with my AXD big sister and I think it would be fun with my family to test how well we can communicate!

- Take a glassblowing class with my sister {also a left over item from last year's summer bucket list}

- Read {books on/in my nightstand} / Watch {Youtube "Watch Later" list} / Listen {Podcast Library that is building up and update my Library Podcast List!}

- Do a "tatted" post where I break down my tattoos, when/where/why I got them and details, which I have been meaning to for years but finally feel comfortable sharing this part of my life.
