A week late & in a different year but this is my December Humble Beauty Opinion!
My monthly subscriptions, purchases, reviews, wishlists & empties!
Let's start with my monthly Ipsy subscription,
probably one of my all time faves!
I love the Juliette Has A Gun "Not a Perfume" and may purchase the full size
Also love the color and formula of the Colored Raine Cosmetics Glowlighter in "Selfie",
Already used up the Purlisse BB cream, perfect for traveling during the holidays
(in my monthly empties below!)
LOVE the color of the Tarte blush in "Shimma & Shake" has quickly become a fave
Last but not least, Luxie brushes are awesome too!
This was an even greater Ipsy bag because I decided to get three add-ons
with the Cyber Monday buy 2-get 1 deal:
I love the addition of keychains to the selections,
had to get this champagne bottle!
Also love my Belle En Argent lipstick so I had to get another one!
I love getting my eye cream/moisturizer from Ipsy, they are the perfect travel sizes!
This month Charlie also picked up the Trader Joe's "Body Butter Trio" and I love them!
the perfect way to try new scents!
I also picked up the "Exfoliating Body Scrub Trio" from Trader Joe's
and have really been enjoying them so far!
The biggest thing on my monthly wishlist is a couple polishes
from the new "Polished Gems" collection from Lights Lacquered!

I blogged about the couple polishes I bought during the first release
but was a little sad that I didn't get the "Cold Turkey" limited edition shade.
I wasn't sure it was worth it since it is so similar to Jefa (which I did buy)
but this comparison shows they are quite different:

This month's empties, what I used up, loved, hated
& all my humble opinions in between:
bath: Revlon Colorsilk "34 Burgundy" x2- yup been a favorite for a while now! / Dr. Teal's "Pink Himalayan Mineral Soak- this stuff smells so nice! I don't know if it actually does anything in the bath but it does make the whole bathroom smell nice / Dr. Teal's "Foaming Bath Relax & Relief"- this stuff does make a bubble bath but not an extreme one and it smells nice too! / Trader Joe's "Pumpkin Spice Biocellulose Face Mask"- I was so excited to try this mask but was so confused when I opened it because it did not fit my face at all (did not read the instructions) but when I finally figured out that you need to peel off TWO layers to get just a jelly mask, I loved it! {see the application terrifying before & after photo below...} / Matrix "Biolage" shampoo- I love the way these products smell! A great shampoo, feels like a salon! / equate "Apricot Scrub"- I think the St. Ives one is better, this one is too harsh and not in a good way, feels a little like rocks... / Dr. Bronner's "Pure Castile" Soap in peppermint x2- you know we love these, we get them from Trader Joes
Trader Joe's "Pumpkin Spice Biocellulose Face Mask"
Left- before realizing you had to peel off both sides
Right- when I actually read the instructions, it is a really nice face mask
beauty: treStique "Kona Coffee" eyeshadow stick- this was so dry, time for it to go! / Badgal Bang! mascara- I liked this a lot! Not my favorite (that is probably Too Faced "Better Than Sex" / Trader Joe's "Almond Honey"- I just got this and used it all up already! I love these body butters! / Trader Joe's "Warm Vanilla Body Butter"- I liked this but I don't think this scent left me as moisturized as the coconut one or the others I have tried / Dove "cool essentials" deodorant- this was a good travel size deodorant but I think I prefer a gel formula / Secret "Luxe Lavender"- probably my favorite deodorant brand/formula / la prairie- the concealer from the top of the foundation "Skin Caviar in "Petale NC-05" that I used up last month, I love the packaging of this product- expected for the price point I suppose / Maybelline Age Rewind in "Brightener" & Neutralizer"- these are my favorite for spot concealing and for under eye! Always repurchase as soon as they are done / Purlisse "Perfect Glow BB Cream" in "Light Medium"- I can't believe I already used this up from this month's Ipsy bag but I loved the coverage and it was perfect for traveling over the holidays / 111Skin Bright Eye Lift Gel- not sure this does anything but I enjoyed it while it lasted! / No7 "Airbrush Away" Primer- really liked this product, not sure it minimizes pores or anything but makes the makeup go on more flawlessly / Burt's Bee's "Coconut & Pear"- not a huge fan of Burt's Bee's products in general but this was a nice chapstick, I don't know what it is but I find them more drying than helpful / Cre8tion Lotion in lavender- I got this as a thank you gift from my last mani at a local nail salon was was surprised at how much I enjoyed this, not overpowering in the scent department but was hydrating / Pan from the tan shade in the Urban Decay "Smoked Eyeshadow Palette"- LOVE this, happy I de-potted this palette since I use the zippered case to travel with my makeup brushes & now I get to use up shades / Pacifica "natural beauty Duo 2"- I have had this forever and tried to depot it but it did not work, ended up breaking up the duo and have been using the lighter white/golden shade as a highlighter and loving it! / Seche Vite top coat- LOVE this stuff, but when it gets low/old it stops being so awesome, need a new one ASAP / Maybelline Color Tattoo "Deep Forest"- I just don't use pot shadows as much as I should! I love this color so much but when I went to use it it's all dried up! / Theorie hair oil- I liked this product even though I am a little scared of hair oil because I have a tendency to get too oily and then use too much dry shampoo... / blender brush- I am not even sure who makes this anymore I feel like I have had it forever, I loved it for undereye creases but it has seen better days and got scratchy, time for a new one- especially because I have so many in my collection!
candles: Thymes "Frasier Fir"- I got this as a gift from my coworker and I loved it! Plus the container is so cute! / Trader Joe's "Candle Tin Trio"- Charlie got me these last month and we used them all up! They all smell great, but the scent doesn't carry too much and I think the little tins only lasted a couple nights of burning
