the amazing craftsmanship of this castle was breathtaking,
from the detailed carvings in the ceiling to the marbled fireplace, it was beautiful!
What I Wore: glasses- BonLook, lips- MAC "Candy Yum Yum", sweater- Romwe, pants- H&M, flats- Old Navy
Lucky for me the bar that the husband wanted to try didn't open until 12,
so that left us an hour to browse the shops!
so that left us an hour to browse the shops!
The first shop "Style Council" carried really pretty pieces from designers like Kensie,
which is a little out of my price range & not quite my style,
but let me tell you,
that sales rack… AMAZING.
beautiful dresses that made me wish I had somewhere to wear them,
& this fur baby,
When I saw it, I was like "This is weird, very soft, would I wear it?"
It was originally $85 & on sale for $19.
I left without it,
& then made the hubby take me back for it after thinking about it for a while!
Although I love my fur that I got at Style Council,
the best part was the leopard carpet in the dressing room,
instant inspiration for my stairs to my attic closet {& the hubby said I could get it!}
now currently in search for the perfect leopard!
The next shop we went to was blue, which I am pretty sure is owned by the same people as Style Council,
They had some very interesting pieces,
including this monkey print tunic dress
& these Aerosoles loafers,
I love this print & this color combo
I knew it had to be mine!
& it was on sale for $20!
First stop was Eddie's Roadhouse for some brews and some apps,
I loved the crispy bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers!
Then we stopped by Yesterdays for a cocktail & to try their escargot
{eh… is all I can say about that…}
I had such an awesome weekend exploring with this handsome man =)
Then we went to my parents house to pick up the pups and went to the Belmar Fishing Club,
for some more apps & cocktails!
Then mom wanted to take "Family photos" since all of us were together,
including Michelle our neighbor/5th sister
We continued taking some family photos,
until my dad figured out that the piano in the corner plays itself.

I was thinking about possible having my wedding at the skyland manor but have not been there to see it myself yet.... you think it would be a nice wedding venue??
It is a beautiful place, the inside is really nice too. A little small as I did not see like a big banquet area. I would check it out for yourself! Keep me posted!
