"Life became dangerous the day we all became famous"

Such a good song with lots of truth bombs...

& I've been thinking a lot about the influencer culture

Some What I'm Watching on the topic:

The "Fake Famous" doc on HBO was eye opening,
I mean deep down we all know what goes on behind the scenes,
but it is another thing to watch it be created for consumption.

Along the same lines,
I (hate) watched "Byron Baes" on Netflix
these people were pretty insufferable...

the accent and acting I felt was questionable at times
but it was an interesting story of "faking it until you make it" or don't I guess...

But I did notice that the journalist in the story has the same mobile that my sister Silvia got me!

Meanwhile this is me writing this blog for the last 11 years...
{holy ish it has really been 11 years?!}

So here is an ootd that is very "on brand" for this personal style blog

🤷🏻‍♀️

What I Wore: glasses- c/o Mo Eyewear, earrings- Julie Vos, necklace- Bracha {gift from my hubby}, sweater- Walmart, pants- hand me downs from my Mom, loafers- Kate Spade

What are your thoughts on influencers?
What about "old school blogs" like this one?
