April Humble Beauty Opinion #77

Last Saturday of the month = my April Humble Beauty Opinion!
My monthly subscriptions, purchases, reviews, wishlists & empties!

Let's start with my Ipsy subscription, as per usual:

I picked the Christophe Robin "Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt"
I have tried this before and LOVED it! Left my scalp clean and gave my hair more body.
A little bit of this product goes a long way too!

This month I also added the Balance Me "Wonder Eye Cream"-
I love using these Add-Ons for skin care
so I get to try lots of products for cheaper than you can buy in store

All in all it was a pretty nice Ipsy bag as far as products go,
I think the bag itself is quite ugly... will be donating this one.
A product that I will be really loving is the Bellapierre Cosmetics "Incognito" lipstick,
it is such a pretty nude!
I also tried the Context nail polish in "Slow Down" but it chipped the next day,
not a fan.

I have also loved the add ons that Ipsy is doing throughout the month,
I picked up a Leave-in Conditioner and another Real Egging Pack since I loved the last one!

I was excited to see what Mystery Bag Swag I would get,
but these stuffed lips are not really a fave...

I also got this email from the Walmart Beauty Box service,
tempting but not sure I want to bother with it again:

I have also done a little bit of beauty shopping this month while being on lockdown...

When I saw this colorful eyeshadow look from @cortneydryden 🔛 Instagram,
I knew I had to watch her tutorial on the look:

When I realized those amazing shadows were from the Bretman Rock x Wet n Wild collaboration
and the palette was only $14.99, I HAD to get it!

While I was at it I also picked up the Rebel Rose Color Icon Creme Blush
that color changes from black to pink, I was nervous to try this but I love it!
Such a pretty pink, so happy I finally tried this!
I also picked up the Fantasy Makers MegaGlo Highlight in "Moonlit Gleam", love this too!
Picked up two more of the MegaLiner Liquid Eyeliner in "Winged n' Wild" I LOVE this green eyeliner and was sad when my first one started to crack at the top,
so happy to have two back ups because this is my favorite green eyeliner!

Also this month my husband requested a refill on his Caviar leave in conditioner,
which I bought for myself but he fell in love with it, so I placed an order at Ulta.
I got a new Urban Decay "All Nighter" with the duo makeup sponge as a "refill" too,
I already have one of these sponges and I really like it!

We were finally able to make a trip to Trader Joes, the lines are long to limit the people in the stores but we waited it out and so happy we did!
Stocked up on my faves- Rose Water Facial Toner, Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Soap,
Coconut Body Butter
& a few new products to try- Supreme Hydrating Eye Cream & Kitchen Garden Scented Candles!

A very exciting splurge that I bought for a quarantine activity was a Z Potter!
I have wanted one of these for over a year now and figured it was time!

I was like a kid on Christmas morning when this baby arrived!

I have been depotting like crazy!
Took a little while to get used to it but it is relatively easy.
A couple of notes:
The induction method did not really work for me so I used heating on all my shadows.
What I did realize is that not everything I wanted to depot is possible, some of my shadows don't even have pans, and some are really hard to wedge a tool in to be able to get them out safely.
I did loose a few good soldiers while still learning but I am happy with how this works!

So much packaging that I can now get rid of

All consolidated into my new palette!

I would do even more depotting but I need more empty palettes,
I loved this Road Trip print but it is only on the website in a bundle:

Got some goodies on my monthly makeup wishlist!
I loved this Orly color from a sponsored Instagram post:
love this Sunkissed color!

& how fun is this "Turn It Up" glitter?!

 Speaking of glitter,
this makeup look from my friend @keldeartistry_ 🔛 Instagram
is BEA.U.TI.FUL
**spoiler alert** just ordered it.

My sister Audrey said that a woman at work,
{she is now working in an emergency room as a training tech}
said she swears by this "Egyptian Magic" cream for her nose after wearing the masks all day,
if it works for that, I want to try it!

I would love to try this since I already know I love the Christophe Robin "Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt" that I get from Ipsy, $42 but judging by the size of this container it will last forever!

they are SO PRETTY
SO pretty!
{love this movie too, just recently rewatched it, holds up!}

and I would love to try these products!
Looking forward to seeing them in store {one day}

I have to get my hands on some of these Aldi candles,
@thedealqueen swears by them and I want to try them,
she recently shared the "Lemon Macaroon" one on her Instagram Story:

My friend Ally shared these vitamins on her Instagram @consciousandcontent
and I am going to try them ASAP!

This month's empties, what I used up, loved, hated
& all my humble opinions in between:

bath: Quantum "Moisturizing Conditioner"- we got this from some family that owns some salons, I enjoyed this conditioner for a longggg time | equate "Ultra Therapy Dry Skin Lotion"- I am not a huge fan of this, I am searching for a new lotion, I don't like the new one I bought either, send recs! | equate Cotton Swabs- these are nice and standard! | beauty 360 Nail Polish Remover- a good standard  nail polish remover | Mainstays "Wild Honeysuckle"- I love the smell of Honeysuckles, a decent candle for a cheap price at Walmart | Dr. Bronner's Pure Castile Bar Soap- a favorite in this house, happy to have more because we recently ran out and switched to -> | Dove beauty bar "Mango Butter"- I am loving these, they make the whole bathroom smell tropical | Lotus "Youth Preserve Rescue Mask" by Fresh- a decent facemask, not one of my favorites though

beauty: Urban Decay "All Nighter"- LOVE, this is my favorite setting spray, I think it is worth the price | exuviance "Super Retinol Concentrate"- I have heard amazing things about retinol and it did leave my face feeling smooth not sure if it smoothed any lines or dark spots | Colorescience "Pep Up"- I really liked this treatment, not sure it worked but I liked it! | It Cosmetics "Anti-Aging" cream-   got this from an Ipsy bag, loved it! | belif "The true cream aqua bomb"- not sure how I feel about gel moisturizers, I think I prefer cream, but this one was pretty good | Verb Ghost Oil- this leaves my hair nice and shiny, surprised by how much I liked this | Jo Malone "Myrth & Tonka"- I wanted to like this scent but it smells a little too "old lady" for me" | OPI "Sunrise... Bedtime!"- I wanted to love this but I don't know if it dried out too fast or what not but it never really worked the way I wanted it to | benefit "Roller Lash"- LOVE this mascara, one of my favorites!

I DIED laughing at this post from Insane and Hormonal on Facebook:

Happy Humble Beauty Opinion!
