Humble Beauty Opinion #30

Perhaps my most exciting purchase this month:
the wait list for the bitter.lace.beauty rainbow highlight!
I blogged it in last month's humble opinion post, put on "Post Notification"
& was ready to go!

Since I was on right when they launched so I paid for the 1-2 month wait list!
I like the way they did the preorder so you are aware of your wait time,
and it gives you something to look forward to!
I can't wait!

Another awesome discovery this month was Milani Cosmetics Amore Mattallics,
I've been wearing "Mattely in Love" a ton, I love how it looks,
it is comfortable, lasts forever even through eating and drinking, doesn't transfer,
and when it feels dry I add chap stick and it looks amazing again!

I also have "Chromattic Addict" and "Matterialistic",
I think they will be nice in the summer with a tan,
a little hard to wear right now I think.

They were hard to find!
I eventually found mine at CVS, they are limited edition and are worth checking out!

I also picked up a Wet n' Wild "Unchained" single shadow,
these are some of my favorite single shadows!

I was so excited to find this MAC "Club" eyeshadow from msantill on PoshMark,
only $8 and I used credit!
I have been using it almost daily and am loving it!
My favorite type of shade and this is a good one!

I went to Ulta to check out the Urban Decay "Alice in Wonderland" collection,
I swatched "Time"- a navy blue with silver shimmer
& "Mad Hatter"- bright purple shimmer shades,
I fell in love but decided to think about it before purchasing!
{see all colors on Beauty Junkies Unite}

I was impressed that they lasted so long and were pretty hours later!

So I decided to go back for "Time" because I have not seen any like it!

I also picked up Maybelline "Dream Velvet" foundation in "Ivory", I have been really enjoying it,
my skin feels drier than usual these days so I was happy with this texture.
I also got the Maybelline "Age Rewind" in "Neutralizer",
I have been loving it to help with red areas,
this "Age Rewind" line is one of my all time favorites, I don't think I could get ready with out it!

I also placed an Ulta order online to score the Urban Decay Cosmetics lipstick in "1993" for $11!

I also saw an article on this NYX Nude Matte Eyeshadow in "Skinny Dip", I ended up returning it because it is very similar to two other shadows I have.

To take advantage of the buy one get one @50% I ordered the NYX shadow in "Blame it on Midnight" and I am so happy I did, I have been using it as a base color for all my looks recently and I am loving it! Great neutral shade!

Ipsy has been killing their bags these days!
Love this travel themed envelope closure bag!
As for the items, ehh, I think they are okay this month,
I tired the polish and it was streaky as highlighter shades tend to be,
the rest of the products don't really get me excited

We finally went back to the H Mart Korean grocery store and I got to pick up new face masks!
I love these!

I also got three new shades to try from Julia Lip Tints,
I am still loving my "Terracotta" shade from last month's Humble Beauty Opinion,
I am excited to play with these!

I have added some new items to my beauty wish list,
so much good stuff is coming out these day!

I am so excited for Too Faced "Chocolate Chip palettes!
They look so cute in this sneak peak by lolalynnmitchell on Instagram!

Love this new Jaclyn Hill x Becca Cosmetics collection,
I already have "Champagne Pop" & love it, so I don't think I will purchase,
but it looks beautiful!

I have been loving watching videos about the new Pat McGrath skin fetish highlighters,
they look beautiful!
But when LoveLuxeBeauty posted this dupe photo, I was like "Oooohhhh"
I may have to get this!
I absolutely LOVE the LoveLuxeBeauty highlighters
& need to add this one in "Enchanted" to my collection,
for the same effect for a fraction of the cost {$9 compared to $72}!

I also added some lipsticks to my wishlist from an Allure article,
I have never tried a MAC red lipstick,
and I think this "Russian Red" or "MAC Red" or "Ruby Woo" will be mine soon!

This Clinique Almost Lipstick in "Black Honey" is another one I need to try ASAP!

I think this packaging to these Lou Taylor lipsticks at Anthropologie is just too cute!

Those are definitely getting me into the summer mood!

This month's empties:
beauty: Smashbox "Photo Finish" primer- this stuff is good, but not one I would spend that much money on / Benefit "The Pore Professional"- one of the best! / Laura Geller "Spackle"- I have had this stuff for 2+ years, probably longer, I like it as a primer in the summer time! / Not Your Mother's "She's a Tease" hairspray- this stuff smells like a hangover, like a cocktail left on the counter, good staying power but I am so happy it is done. I love their beach spray and dry shampoo but the scent on this is not good. / Maybelline "Dream Velvet"- tried this and decided to purchase and try it out, it is a little heavy but I am enjoying it so far / CVS "oil free eye makeup remover"- this stuff works well and is cheap, will repurchase when I use up others / Avenno "Positively Radiant" daily moisturizer- I liked this, smells a little like sun screen though / Neutrogena "Hydro Boost gel-cream"- this stuff was amazing, one of my favorite hand creams I have ever used, moisturizing without that film feeling lotion leaves / bayberry naturals "Reship & Hibiscus Moisturizer"- too watery and not very moisturizing / Summer's Eve "Sheer Floral" Cleansing Cloths- maybe a little too personal?! I love these, I have the individual ones for traveling too, already repurchased these

bath: Garnier Nutrisse "Blue Black"- I love this hair color, really enjoying it, I might alternate between this and the burgundy to see what that looks like / Charcoal & Avocado masks from the Korean grocery store- these are awesome! / Olay "Fresh Outlast" in cooling white strawberry and mint- I liked this, it smells like something I can't quite place my finger on but it is nice! / Trader Joe's "Tea Tree Oil" soap- not a huge fan, didn't smell as much as I was hoping and didn't last long, the Dr. Brommers one from Trader Joe's is much better / Living Proof "Prime Style Extender"- I love the scent of this, makes my hair soft, I would purchase it but it is expensive / Jergens "Wet Skin Moisturizer"- I used to really like this stuff but it make my skin a little greasy and just feel weird, maybe I am using too much? Idk, not as happy as I used to be with it

candles: Opia "Ylang Ylang"- from Primark, I loved this scent, great for a whole day of burning / Gardenia Jasmine- from Primark, so great I need to back for more of all of these, not one that I have not loved! & they are only like 90 cents! / Mahogany Driftwood- from Walmart, a nice transition from winter to spring/summer scent I love these / Cozy Comfort- from Walmart- WOAH I think this is a new favorite, it is like the spring version of my favorite candle from Target "Cozy Nights". These are only like $3.50 at Walmart, I have to go stock up!
